替え工具マガジンは、マガジン単体の支持体にロ
ツク部材が支持体の半径方向に移動自在に取り付
けられるとともに、中心軸には、ロツク部材の内
端部を嵌入させてマガジン単体を位置決めする置
決め溝と、ロツク部材の内端部を押圧してロツク
部材を押圧バネの弾力に抗して外方に動かしロツ
ク部材の外端部を一対の爪の根端部の間に入れて
爪の開回動を阻止する押圧部とを外周面に備えた
案内環がフレームに固定して設けられており、マ
ガジン単体が所定の位置に位置決めされた時には
工具保持機構が自動的に自由状態となつて工具の
抜き差しが自由となり、またマガジン単体が所定
の位置から外れた状態においては、工具保持機構
がロツクされて工具の離脱がこれも自動的に防止
される構成とされ、構造が単純な上に、作動の途
上において工具保持機構のロツクとロツク解除が
自動的になされるので、主軸によるマガジン単体
に対する工具の嵌込みと抜出しの作動が安全かつ
的確になし得る。
