That is, in the cane tip attachment/detachment device for a cane for visually impaired people of this invention, the tip of the cane is inserted tightly from one end side, and a forked part that holds a shaft rotatably supporting a roller is formed on the other end side. It is characterized by having a pipe that is

Reference numeral 1 designates a cane body for a visually impaired person, and 2 designates a cane tip attachment/detachment device according to an embodiment of this invention. 3 is a tube forming the main body of the cane tip attachment/detachment device, and synthetic resin material such as vinyl chloride is advantageous because it is lightweight, easy to process, and inexpensive. Reference numeral 31 denotes two or more slits in the axial direction provided to provide elasticity in the radial direction so that the tip of the cane is tightly fitted into the tube when inserted into the tube.
4 is a forked portion formed by cutting off a portion of the tip side of the tube. Reference numeral 5 denotes a shaft that is passed through the hole in the fork and fixed to the fork, and is made of, for example, a metal screw. 6 is a nut screwed into the screw on the tip side of the screw, and is secured to prevent loosening. Reference numeral 7 denotes a roller rotatably supported by the shaft 5, and a roller made of, for example, fluororesin is preferably used. Fluorine resin materials are hard and unlike rubber, etc., they convey the condition of the road surface well, have excellent abrasion resistance, and have the advantage of being quiet, white, and lightweight.

このような杖先脱着具は、次の効果を奏する。 Such a cane tip attachment/detachment device has the following effects.

態がよく判断できる。
There is no need to raise and lower the tip of the cane each time, which reduces fatigue, and the road surface condition can be constantly sensed through the cane itself. For example, it is possible to clearly judge the condition of a staircase or route from a train entrance to a platform, or vice versa.

歩行の進路を変更する際に方向を変える操作
が極めてスムーズにできる。
The operation to change direction when changing the course of walking can be done extremely smoothly.
