Conventionally, walkers commonly used in hospitals and other facilities by patients with leg disorders and difficulty walking (arthritis, paralyzed patients, etc.) simply consist of four legs with casters, etc. placed at the bottom. Since it has a fixed frame structure framed in the shape of a wagon, it is forced to be large and cumbersome to use, making it far from a portable type. There is also a folding chair-type walker of this kind, but it is a chair-type walker with armrests in which the seat and backrest are simply foldable, so the patient's grip is naturally Limited. However, the worst thing about these walkers (the former and the latter) is that they are not very stable. Especially for patients with poor standing balance, walking alone can be dangerous (the walker is likely to tip over, etc.).

In view of the above-mentioned circumstances, the present invention provides a chair-type walker with excellent stability by disposing a weight at the bottom of the chair frame.

That is, the present invention has a pair of left and right chair side frame frames in which a foldable sheet-like seat and a backrest are disposed in the middle, and a weight is detachably attached to the lower edge of each frame, and the weights are attached and detached from the upper part of the rear legs. A support shaft with a handle is attached to the backrest erecting rod, and the walker can be held while walking or used in an armchair using the handle to provide a stable walker.

1c, the lower ends of the link-type connecting members 4, 4 of the X set, whose orthogonal centers are the connecting pivot points 3, are respectively pivotally connected, and the link-type connecting members 4, 4
Both ends of a foldable seat part 7 made of seat fabric 6 or the like are attached to tension rods 5, 5 parallel to the lower edge frame parts 1c, 1c provided at the upper ends of the chair side frame frames 1, 1. Vertical support shafts 9, 9, to which both ends of a foldable back rest 8 made of sheet material 6 or the like are attached, are extended and rotated to the back rest upright rods 1d, 1d, which are the upper parts of the rear legs 1b, 1b. It can be inserted and mounted in a movable manner to form a chair-type walker 10. In this case, a handle 1 that is perpendicular to the upper end of the pair of support shafts 9, 9

The lower ends of weights 13, 13 made of solid metal or the like are slidably attached to 2. This weight 13 is attached so that the weight is appropriately selected according to the load of the patient (the weight 13 is, for example, a single block of 5

When using this walker, first, the foldable walker 10 is assembled into a chair. , the X-set link-shaped connecting members 4, 4 pivotally connected to the lower edge frames 1c, 1c are unfolded, and the tension rods 5, 5 having seat portions 7 made of sheet material arranged on the upper edge are attached to the upper edge frame. Part 1
e and 1e fall into the engaging claws 14, 14 provided laterally, and the chair is automatically assembled. Also, the left and right handles 1
Positions 1 and 11 (height, protrusion direction) take heights that correspond to the position of the patient's arm. That is, the support shafts 9, 9 are set to the desired height by loosening the band-clamping type clamps 15, 15 attached to the ends of the backrest upright rods 1d, 1d. Furthermore, when tightening the support shafts 9, 9, the handles 11, 11 protruding from the upper ends of the support shafts 9, 9 should be directed rearward, for example (see FIG. 9A).
(When using a push type gait as shown in). Furthermore, the weights 13, 13 for lowering the center of gravity are also attached according to the patient's eyesight and degree of walking difficulty. That is, the spring-like curved engagement pieces 16, 16 provided on the bottom surface of the weight 13, which is a rectangular block, are connected to the parallel stand rods 12,
12 and fit it. Since these engaging pieces 16, 16 only have a band shape,
After fitting, it can be slid in the longitudinal direction (back and forth) as appropriate.

Here, when walking while holding on to the handles 11, 11, the walker 10 assembled with a chair
Stand behind the camera and stretch out your arm, using your wrist to touch the handle 1.
It holds numbers 1 and 11. In this state, even if you start walking and apply a load by leaning on the handles 11, 11, the walker 10 has weights 13, 13 at the bottom of the tip and maintains gravity balance (center of gravity at the bottom). The handle 11 rotates around the caster 2 at the end of the lower rear leg 1b and does not fall over. Axis 9
The proximal end is hooked so that it is on the inside of the axis 9a.
Therefore, from this point of view as well, it has a stable load-receiving configuration).

If the person walks in this state, the casters 2 of the walker 10 will rotate and move by the width of the step. That is, assisted walking using the walker 10 can be performed reliably. In this case, when it is desired to carry the baggage A, it is sufficient to place it on the sheet-like seat portion 7 stretched in front.

Also, when you are tired of walking and want to sit down (when using a chair), stand your body in front of the walker 10,
It is sufficient to simply sit on this seat portion 7. The position of the handle 11 at this time can be determined by loosening the tightening support of the support shaft in advance and rotating the handle 11 at the upper end forward, so that the handle 11 becomes a kind of armrest member 17, so that it can be adjusted to a seated position. Since you can rest on your elbows, you can sit comfortably. Of course, the handle 11 may face forward and the walker 10 may be pushed from the front side.

Furthermore, this chair-type walker 10 has a weight 13 at the bottom.
Because it is a stable type with a low center of gravity, it is possible to step onto or hold on to the walker 10 directly from, for example, a bed (not shown). That is, the walker 10
is placed on the side of the bed, and in this state, even if the user stands up by grasping the handle 11 and moves to the seat 7, the walker 10 itself remains immovable due to the weight 13. , it becomes possible to move the body with peace of mind. Of course, this weight 13 is placed on the 12 parts of the base rod 12, which are the left and right underlines of the walker 10, with equal weight to maintain balance (for example, if one weight of 5 kg is used on one side, This adds up to a total weight of 10 kg at the bottom of the walker).

Next, when not in use, by simply lifting the center part of the sheet-like seat part 7 of the chair assembly, the tension rods 5 arranged at both ends of the seat part 7 can be attached to the chair side frame frame. In order to come out of the engaging claw 14 on the side of the body 1, the link-type connecting members 4 of the X set rotate and fold around the central connecting pivot point 3, and the left and right chair side frame skeleton bodies 1, 1 part are folded. Overall, walker 10
is in a folded state. That is, it can be folded with one touch, making it convenient to carry and store. At this time, of course, the sheet-like backrest part 8 is also folded up following the folding of the seat part 7.

As shown in the upper part, the chair-type walker of this invention is a foldable low-center-of-gravity type walker body with a weight placed on the lower part of the left and right chair side frame skeletons with a link-shaped connecting member with a seat-like seat on the upper edge and a seat-like seat on the lower part of the chair side frame skeleton.
The support shaft with handle, which has a sheet-like backrest, is attached to the backrest lifting rod at the rear end of the chair frame so that it can be extended and rotated. Even if the handle is gripped when walking with the walker, the walker does not lift up in reaction because of the low center of gravity, and the walker moves only when the body moves to walk, so it can be used by walking assistants or walking trainers. Moreover, because it is highly stable, it can be used safely even by patients with poor balance when standing due to paralysis, etc. In addition, because the handle is attached so that it can be rotated back and forth, when using it as a chair, the handle faces forward and serves as an armrest, making it easier to sit on the chair. Of course, because casters are provided on the four lower ends of the walker, it has practical effects such as being easily used as a normal wheelchair if a third party pushes it.
