(Prior Art) Katame cotton is produced by heat-treating a mixed material made by mixing fibers that have the property of dissolving at a temperature of around 140° C. into a main cotton material such as synthetic fibers, linen, wool, or cotton. In this type of Katame cotton, the main cotton material is fixed in many dots or layers in small areas by heat-melting fibers, making it more elastic than ordinary cotton (cotton made only of the above main materials). However, it has the property of being difficult to fold when formed into a plate shape.

By the way, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, bedding has been used in the past in which the front and back sides are flat and flat cotton is used as batting.
In this type of bedding containing katame cotton, the filling (katame cotton) is highly elastic, so it is difficult to fold.
Another problem is that if the bedding is repeatedly folded, wrinkles tend to form in the bedding.

(Purpose of the invention) In view of the above-mentioned problems of the conventional shaped cotton for bedding, it is an object of the present invention to provide a shaped cotton for bedding that can be easily folded.

(Means for achieving the purpose) The thermoformable katame cotton for bedding of the present invention can be used for synthetic fibers, linen,
In katame cotton for bedding, which is made by thermoforming a mixed material made by mixing fibers that have the property of dissolving at a predetermined high temperature into a cotton main material such as wool or cotton into a plate shape of a predetermined thickness, It is characterized by having depressions reaching an appropriate depth formed on the front or back side of the cotton, or on both the front and back sides.

(Function) In the present invention, a depression reaching an appropriate depth is formed on the front or back surface or both the front and back sides of the katame cotton, so in bedding that uses this katame cotton as the filling, the filling (katame cotton) is formed in the hollow part. Since it can be easily bent, it is easy to fold, and even if it is folded over and over again, it is difficult to form creases. Furthermore, when depressions are formed on the front or back surface of the katame cotton as described above, the elasticity is enhanced and the surface area is increased, resulting in good moisture absorption and dispersion.

(Example) An example of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 2, 4, and 5. Katame cotton for bedding in the example shown in FIGS. , heat-forming a mixed material made by mixing fibers that have a property of dissolving at a temperature of about 140°C into a cotton main material such as cotton into a plate shape of a predetermined thickness,
It is constructed by forming recesses 1, 1 in a cross shape reaching an appropriate depth on the surface side of the Katame cotton body which has been thermoformed into a plate shape in this manner.

The shaped cotton shown in each of the above examples can be easily folded at the molded portion of the recess 1. When inserting this katame cotton into a bedding bag as a filling, the filling (katame cotton) may be folded at one part of the recess, inserted into the bedding bag, and then opened inside the bedding bag. If the katame cotton can be easily folded in this way, the cotton filling work can be easily performed.

(Effects of the invention) The Katame cotton for bedding of the invention has the following effects. That is, since the slanted cotton for bedding of the present invention has depressions 1 formed on the front or back side or both the front and back sides of the slanted cotton, (1) the slanted cotton can be easily folded, and the slanted cotton can be used as a bedding bag. (2) When transporting bedding made from this Katame cotton,
It is easy to fold when storing, and is stable in the folded position (difficult to open due to its elasticity); (3) Bedding is less prone to creases; (4) surface is uneven, increasing elasticity. (5) The increased surface area improves moisture absorption and wicking, which has many benefits such as being clean and good for health.
