DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (Objective) The present invention relates to a craft method that allows a craft work in which a picture pattern or the like is embossed on plate glass to be clearly seen even in the case of insufficient light.

It is common practice to engrave plate glass using artistic design and skill and appreciate the embossed effect when viewed from the opposite side. However, when the amount of light that hits the glass surface decreases, the roughness of the engravings finished by sand-plastering etc. The diffused reflection caused by the grain surfaces becomes weaker, and the white color of the relief becomes faded, making it unbearable to appreciate. If it's an ornament, you can just move it to a bright place, but if it's part of the interior, such as a screen or partition that's difficult to carry, don't place it in the evening, on a rainy day, or in a room with insufficient lighting. Reliefs darken and the value of decorative furniture is halved. The object of the present invention is to obtain a plate glass relief that can always be seen clearly regardless of whether it is bright or dark indoors or outdoors.

(Structure) The structure of the present invention is a known half-mirror film in which two engraved plate glasses are placed with the engraved surfaces inside.
This is done by sandwiching and gluing two pieces of paper (or film) together. Semi-mirror membranes are made in the same way as in normal mirror manufacturing by pouring an aqueous silver nitrate solution onto the membrane surface, depositing colloidal silver on the membrane surface using caustic soda, etc., and drying it. However, the difference from normal mirror manufacturing is that By reducing the number of colloidal silver particles and creating gaps between the particles, the light transmittance was increased. On a bright surface, the semi-mirror film receives a large amount of light, so the film surface reflects a lot of light and looks like a mirror, and the sculpture's coarse-grained surface causes active diffuse reflection due to external light and light reflected from the mirror surface, making it shine. It stands out white like that. On the other hand, on a dark surface, there is less incident light, so the relief on the glass in the foreground appears pale white, and the semi-mirror membrane transmits the light that is not reflected from the bright light on the opposite side through the gaps between the colloidal particles. The front is transparent and gray. Although the semi-mirror membrane deposits colloidal silver particles on only one side, it can be used with either side facing either direction.

(Effect) By sandwiching the semi-mirror film between two pieces of glass, a space exists between the coarse-grained surface of the sculpture and the semi-mirror film, and light rays are refracted freely, increasing the depth and shallowness of the engraving. It often appears and promotes a three-dimensional effect. This effect is beyond the reach of the general method of applying glossy paint to the surface of coarse grains. When the present invention is used for interior decoration, it is possible to obtain an interior that has two effects: a bright interior when viewed from the bright side, and a fantastic interior with a pale white pattern on a gray background when viewed from the dark side. Become.
