Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to wax a car with a relatively small amount of wax liquid, by waxing the car after water on the vehicle body of the car is removed to some degree by a first drying process. CONSTITUTION:On a first outgoing process Ia in a main body 1, water is sprayed from water spray nozzles 9, 10 while cleaning liquid is scattered from a cleaning liquid nozzle 11 to remove mud and dirt from a vehicle body by brushing. On a first return process Ib foamed cleaning agent is sprayed from a cleaning agent nozzle 13 and brushing is made thereover. On a second outgoing process IIa the foamed cleaning agent is washed off after spraying water from the nozzles 9, 10, and rinsing is made by water spray from a nozzle. On a second return process IIb air is blown from a blower nozzle 7 onto the vehicle body 50 to remove water adhered to the vehicle body 50. On a third outgoing process IIIa a wax is applied to the vehicle body from a wax nozzle 12, and then the vehicle body is washed with water. On a third return process IIIb air is blown from the nozzle 7 to dry the vehicle body.

Conventionally, this type of car wash machine has, for example, a pre-washing process in which water or detergent water is sprayed during the first return trip, a washing process using foamed detergent during the first return trip, and a wax liquid used during the second return trip. There are some that wash and polish the car body by performing a waxing process and a drying process by blowing air during the second go-around. However, with this method, the wax liquid is sprayed immediately after using the foamed detergent that is highly adhesive to the car body during the first go-around, and the detergent and wax may mix and coagulate (C), or the wax may become coagulated. There is an inconvenience in that a large amount of water is sprinkled so that the liquid does not mix with the detergent, and the wax liquid is washed away without adhering to the car body sufficiently, making it impossible to obtain a sufficient polishing effect with the wax. In addition, as shown in Japanese Patent Publication No. 58-47380,
A two-way flushing method is known that includes a washing process, a rinsing process, a waxing process, and a drying process. However, in general, if you do not wash the sand, mud, etc. from the car body with a certain amount of water before washing, there is a risk that this sand, mud, etc. will be rubbed against the car body with a brush and scratch the painted surface. When water is used, most of the detergent is washed away before it acts on the car body, and there is a problem that stubborn dirt such as oil stains and water scale cannot be removed. The drawback is that cleaning only once at a time may not be enough to remove dirt, and there is a risk of damaging the painted surface of the car body if you try to remove it.

In this example, the car wash operation consists of three round trips as described above, and during the first round trip, a certain amount of water is used to wash away mud and dirt from the car body, and subsequent polishing with a brush removes scratches caused by mud, sand, etc. After setting it to a state where it does not give etc.,
During the return trip, foamed detergent is applied to the vehicle body and polishing is performed using a brush. The detergent and brushing are used to thoroughly remove individual dirt, and the detergent remaining on the vehicle body is washed away during the second outbound trip. Next, during the second go-around, the blower nozzle 7 was activated to remove a certain amount of water from the car body, making it in a sticky state, and then a waxing process was performed, and finally the blower nozzle 7 was activated again to dry the car body. Is going. Of the two drying processes using the blower nozzle 7, in the first process, the car body has almost no water repellency due to wax etc. immediately after washing with detergent, so even if air is blown, the water does not drain easily and the car body remains dry. A suitable film of water will remain on the surface of the vehicle, and during the next waxing process, this water film will effectively disperse the wax evenly over the surface of the car body.

This invention consists of the above-mentioned configuration and operation, and includes a pre-washing step in which the main body is brushed with only water or water sprayed with detergent during the first return trip, and a brushing step using at least foamed detergent during the first return trip. A cleaning process in which water is sprayed only or brushing with water is performed during the second return trip, a first drying process in which air is blown onto the unit during the second return trip to scatter adhering water droplets, and a third drying process is performed during the third return trip. Waxing process of brushing with wax liquid, 3rd
During the go-around, a second drying process is performed in which air is blown onto the car body to scatter water droplets, so sand and mud stains are washed away in the pre-washing process, oil stains and other dirt stuck to the car body are removed in the washing process, and dirt stuck to the car body, such as oil stains, is removed in the rinsing process. Rinse off any detergent left on the car body, and
In the drying process, part of the water adhering to the car body can be removed, waxing can be performed in the waxing process, and the car body can be dried in the second drying process, which cannot be achieved with the conventional two-way washing machine described above. High cleaning and wax polishing effects can be obtained at the same time. In particular, since waxing is applied after a certain amount of water on the car body is removed in the first drying process, there is no problem such as the wax liquid flowing down with the water on the car body before it acts on the painted surface, and a relatively small amount of water is removed. A sufficient wax finishing effect can be obtained with wax liquid.
