The present invention relates to a method for cutting a slate board, and more particularly to a method for cutting a slate board in which the cut end surface of the slate board is sloped. Conventionally, tiles made of asbestos cement have been widely used, but when these tiles are laid out side by side, rainwater tends to enter the gap between the bottom row of tiles and the top row of tiles due to capillary action. It had the disadvantage of making the roof surface damp. In order to eliminate these drawbacks, as shown in Figure 1, the lower end surface B of the tile A is made sloped to improve the efficiency of rainwater flowing down, thereby preventing rainwater from entering between the upper and lower rows of tiles A. It has been proposed to make it more difficult, but
Conventionally, when manufacturing slate roof tiles with a sloped bottom end surface as described above, as shown in Fig. 2, an uncured slate plate A' is cut with a blade C having a relatively obtuse cutting edge, and then , cutting is performed at an angle along the blade side surface C'. However, with this method, the angle of inclination of the slope of the cutting surface can only be about 45 degrees at most, which is a limit to the angle. Also, since the uncured original plate is cut, it is necessary to support the original plate during cutting. There were also some difficulties. In view of the above-mentioned difficulties, the present invention has been developed so that when the end face of a plate material such as a slate tile is cut diagonally, the inclination can be arbitrarily and easily cut, and the appearance of the cut surface has an excellent appearance in terms of design. This method was developed for the purpose of providing a method for cutting a slate board that can be cut by cutting the slate board by extending the edge of the slate board, which has been cured and hardened to a bending strength of 30 kg/cm 2 or more, from the edge of the board. After placing the board and uniformly pressing and fixing the top surface of the board with a pressure plate, the part corresponding to the top surface of the board and the part extending from the edge of the board to a range up to 1.5 times the thickness of the slate board, A pressure plate is used to press the upper surface of the extending portion of the plate material along the edge of the press plate, and a pressing force is applied to the offset position on the front and back surfaces of the slate plate, so that the edge of the press plate is pressed from the edge of the substrate. It is characterized by causing shear failure along the slope leading to . Next, the present invention will be explained with reference to examples. FIGS. 3A to 3D are explanatory diagrams showing the steps of the present invention, and FIG. 4 is a side sectional view of a slate plate obtained by the present invention. The method for cutting a slate board according to the present invention is as shown in FIG . Then, as shown in FIG. After uniformly pressing the portion S extending to a range of 1.5 times the thickness T of the substrate 2 and fixing it onto the substrate 2, the plate material is pressed along the edge 3A of the pressing plate 3 as shown in FIG. 1
The upper surface of the extended portion is pressed with a pressure plate 4 and cut. At this time, pressing forces are applied to the plate material 1 at different positions on the front and back surfaces along the edge 2A of the substrate 2 and the edge 3A of the pressing plate 3, and the upper surface of the plate material is pressed and supported by the pressing plate 3. As a result, the plate material 1 is sheared and fractured along the slope from the substrate edge 2A to the pressure plate 4, as shown in FIG. 3D. In addition, as shown in Fig. 4, the cut surface 1C of the slate board 1 is a shear failure surface, so the surface condition is finely uneven, similar to that obtained when natural stone is broken. . FIG. 5 is a side view of an apparatus used for carrying out the present invention, which is composed of a substrate 2 on which a slate plate 1 is placed, a press plate 3, and a movable substrate 5 that supports a press plate 4. A pressure plate 4 is fixed to 5, and the pressure plate 3 is attached via a spring 6. After placing the slate plate 1 on the substrate 2, when the movable substrate 5 is lowered, the pressure plate 3 and the pressure plate 4 come into contact with the slate plate 1. At this time, the pressure plate 3 is biased by the spring 6. Therefore, when the slate plate 1 is pressed uniformly and the movable substrate 5 is lowered, the pressure plate 4 strongly presses the slate plate 1 and cuts the plate 1. Therefore, according to this device, pressing and fixing and cutting can be performed in one stroke, and the cutting operation can be performed quickly. In this invention, since the slate plate to be cut has an oblique cut surface through shear fracture, the slate plate should have as much hardness as possible.

[Table] Since this invention is configured as described above,
When cutting the end face of a slate board diagonally, the inclination angle can be changed arbitrarily by adjusting the horizontal distance S between the edge 2A of the substrate 2 and the processing board 4 within a range of 1.5 times the board thickness T. For example, if the angle of the cut surface is 45 degrees, it is sufficient to make the horizontal distance S equal to the thickness T of the plate material 1, and furthermore, by setting S>T, the inclination angle can be arbitrarily made obtuse. It can be done. Moreover, according to the cutting method of the present invention, the cut surface has a finely uneven surface and has an appearance similar to that of splitting natural stone, so it can produce a variety of variations that cannot be obtained by cutting with a conventional cutting blade. It has various effects, such as being able to mechanically produce large quantities of plate materials that have a natural appearance and can be cut in the form of cut surfaces.
