Abstract

PURPOSE:To house orderly an optical cord consisting of a large number of cores with simple and inexpensive constitution by the constitution consisting in fitting and holding the surplus length part of the optical code into the plural adjacent grooves of a surplus length holding plate in a box body. CONSTITUTION:Broad parts 12a are provided on the open end side of the plural grooves 12 formed by notching a surplus length holding plate 11 horizontally to the plate plane and narrow parts 12b are provided on the close end side thereof. Such plate is installed in an upright state to the inside surface of the box body 13. Stoppers 15 attached to the surplus length part 16a of the optical cord 16 are press-fitted into the broad parts 12a of the grooves 12 to hold the part 12a. The surplus length part is thus housed orderly into the small space by the simple operation of fitting merely the surplus length part into the grooves; in addition the construction is simple and the cost is reduced.
