Abstract

PURPOSE:To remove the detection of malfunction due to wiper operation while keeping the volume of toner in a developing device at a fixed value and refreshing the surface of a toner sensor precisely by forming a toner residual detecting means, a control device for executing the sequence operation of an image forming device and a means for alarming toner empty status. CONSTITUTION:When toner in the developing part A is reduced, a toner sensor S is exposed, so that a replenishing roller 6 is rotated by a motor M and toner is dropped from a hopper part B.
