Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a talking relating to an incoming call from being ineffective by providing a means ringing a ringer when an incoming call signal is transmitted from a connecting device to a radio telephone set and no incoming response signal is detected even after a prescribed time is elapsed. CONSTITUTION:A call signal detection circuit 10 of a connecting device 1 detects a 16Hz call signal transmitted through a wired telephone line 2 from an exchange at incoming and after it is processed by a control circuit 11', a transmission section comprising an amplifier 17 and a transmitter 12 is driven and the incoming signal is transmitted to the radio telephone set 3 via an antenna 13. When the connecting device 1 transmits an incoming signal to the radio telephone set 3 and no incoming response signal reaches even after a prescribed time is elapsed, it is detected by the control section 11' and a ringer 20 is activated. The connecting device 1 has a hybrid 16 dividing incoming/outgoing talking signals, amplifiers 17, 18 and a power supply 19 in addition to above.

However, in such a conventional wireless telephone system, the power supply circuit 38 of the wireless telephone 8!3 is used. When the power supply voltage of the battery drops below the required value, when the power switch provided in the power supply circuit 38 of the radio telephone 3 is turned "OFF", or for some other reason, the incoming call signal or the incoming call response signal When the frequency drops below a receivable level, or when the incoming 111P signal or incoming call response 4H signal is interfered by external radio waves and cannot be received correctly, the system interrupts the incoming call connection operation. Then the standby mode returns to normal operation. Therefore, in such a case, if the called party uses only the wireless telephone 813 nearby, there is a problem that the called party cannot know that there is an incoming call.

According to the present invention, as described in the claims, the above object comprises a connecting device connected to an exchange through a wired telephone line, and a wireless telephone connected to this connecting device via a wireless line. When the device detects a calling signal sent from the exchange through the wired telephone line, w,l1l
In a wireless telephone system, incoming calls are controlled by sending an incoming call signal to the II telephone, and in response, the wireless telephone sends an incoming call response signal to the connecting device.
When the connecting device sends an incoming call signal to the wireless telephone and no incoming call response signal is detected after a certain period of time has elapsed, the connecting device must be provided with a means to make a ringer sound, or the connecting device must activate a recording/playback device. or provide means for the connecting device to send a call response signal to the exchange and for the exchange to receive the signal to send a pre-prepared talkie guide to the calling party. This is achieved by

According to the first means described above, even if for some reason the incoming call signal or the incoming call response signal is not normally transmitted and received between the connecting device and the wireless telephone, at least the incoming call It is possible to notify the called party by the sound of the ringer, and the second method allows the called party to record the message from the caller regarding the incoming call, so that the called party can later record this message. In addition, according to the third method, a pre-recorded message stating, for example, that the wireless telephone cannot be called because the power switch is turned off, can be used. The announcement can be sent from the exchange to the calling party.

In FIG. 5, when the processing unit 72 sends an incoming call signal to the wireless telephone via the incoming call signal generating unit 70,
The time monitoring unit 73 uses the counter 74 to start time monitoring. When the detection unit 71 detects an incoming call response signal within a predetermined time, the counter is reset and counting is stopped. At this time, if the incoming call response signal is not detected even after a predetermined time has elapsed, a signal (1'') is outputted via the output signal sending section 75.This signal is used in each of the embodiments described above. It serves as a signal to start the operation of the ringer or recording/playback device of the system, and also serves as a trigger for issuing a call response signal to the exchange.
