Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the transfer failure, and also to improve the peeling property by forming a core part of a peeling roller so that its diameter becomes small enough, forming an elastic layer which has been provided on the periphery of the core part, so that the center part becomes a large diameter and both end sides become successively a small diameter, and making a tension of a photosensitive body uniform in the center part and both the end parts. CONSTITUTION:The diameter of a core part 4a of a peeling roller 4 is made small enough, and the diameter of the center part of an elastic layer 4b which has been provided on its periphery is made a little larger than that of both end sides. Therefore, even if the core part 4a is bent, this bent portion is compensated by the elastic layer 4b, a tension of the center part side and both the end part sides of a photosensitive body 1 can be made roughly constant, the surface of the photosensitive body 1 is not waved and no transfer failure is generated. The peeling property of a form 8 which has adhered closely to the surface of the photosensitive body 1 is also improved.

2. Description of the Related Art A conventional copying machine using a belt-shaped photoreceptor is shown in FIG. 4. In the above copying machine, an endless belt photoreceptor d is wound around three rollers 1'6#' and rotated in the direction of the arrow, and a toner image developed by a developing device e is transferred to a paper feed (not shown). Paper fed between photoreceptor d and transfer device f by the device! Even if the roller 0 is positioned above the transfer device f, the roller 0 is transferred to the other four rollers eL.
The paper has a diameter smaller than lb and is brought into close contact with the photoreceptor d during transfer by sharply curving the photoreceptor d! It is easy to peel off. That is, the smaller the diameter of the peeling roller C, the easier it is to peel off the paper l from the photoreceptor d, and thus a roller with a small diameter has conventionally been used.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, if the diameter of the peeling roller C is too small, the photoreceptor -
The tension at the center of the peeling roller C bends, and the tension at the center of the photoreceptor B is weaker than at both ends.As a result, undulations occur on the transfer surface of the photoreceptor D, causing poor transfer. . For this reason, in the past, it was not possible to reduce the diameter of the peeling roller C by 9 degrees, and there were problems such as poor peelability of the paper f especially when thin paper l was used.

Means and Function for Solving Problems A peeling roller wrapped around a belt-shaped photoreceptor is used to peel off the paper that is in close contact with the surface of the photoreceptor during transfer from the surface of the photoreceptor using the stiffness of the paper. In this device, the core portion of the peeling roller is made sufficiently small in diameter to improve paper peeling properties, and the deflection of the core portion is suppressed by using an elastic layer provided around the core portion with a large diameter in the center portion. A paper peeling device for an electronic copying machine in which the tension of a photoreceptor is made uniform between the center and both ends by absorbing the tension by forming the diameter of both ends to be gradually smaller.

That is, in order to cross-feed an A3 size paper 8 and make it possible to copy it, a roller 4 having a length of approximately 500 mm is required. In order to improve the releasability of the paper 8, if the diameter of the core 4a of the four-layer 4 is set to 2φ, and the photoreceptor 1 is stretched with a tension of 9 mm, the core 4a has a diameter of about 1 mm at the center. As a result, the surface of the photoreceptor 1 was undulated, causing a transfer failure.

Therefore, in the present invention, the core portion 4a of the four peeling rollers 4 has a diameter of 12 mm, and a rubber elastic 194 provided around the core portion 4a is 12 mm.
The diameter of the central portion b is slightly larger than that of both ends to reduce the deflection of the core portion 4a. In the example, the central part of the elastic m4b is 2001rurLft and the outer diameter is 21φ, and both end sides are 15Q.
mm was tapered so that the diameter gradually decreases toward the tip side, and the outer diameter was 19φ at the end. As a result, even if the outer diameter of the core portion 4cL was set to 12φ, the tension at the center and both ends of the photoreceptor 1 could be made almost constant, and the surface of the photoreceptor 1 was almost free from undulation.

Moreover, the releasability was improved as shown in FIG. 3 compared to the conventional exfoliator with an outer diameter of 27φ.

Effects of the Invention As described in detail above, the present invention is configured such that the outer diameter of the elastic layer 4b covering the surface of the core portion 4a is large at the center and gradually becomes smaller at both ends. By making the diameter of the core 4a sufficiently small, even if the core 4a is bent, the elasticity H4h compensates for this bending, so that the tension at the center and both ends of the photoreceptor can be kept almost constant. . This prevents the surface of the photoreceptor 1 from undulating, so there is no risk of transfer defects, and the outer diameter of the peeling roller 4 can be rounded to a sufficiently small diameter, so that the paper 8 that is in close contact with the surface of the photoreceptor 10 can be rolled. The releasability is also further improved.
