Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a uniform image without irregularity with a simple structure against a photosensitive material of a long size, by providing a means for superposing a guide web and the photosensitive material, and thereafter, welding them by pressure from one direction. CONSTITUTION:When a body 1 is closed with a cover 2, a roller 10 being at the tip of a pressure welding member 9 provided on the cover 2 presses a roll film F and a guide web W, and raises the adhesion of both of them. When the roll film F and the guide web W are wound by rotating a winding shaft 7, a developer being on the guide web W is placed between both of them, spread by an ironing action of the roller 10 and extended uniformly on the whole surface of the roll film F. As for this pressure strength, it will suffice that it can hold enough an adherence state of both of them, and it has a spreading property of an intermediate developer. At the time point when a winding work of the roll film F has been ended, it is left as it is for several minutes, and rewinding is executed by rotating backward a cartridge shaft 5 and a guide web shaft 6, by which the roll film F of a cartridge P is brought to a development processing.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [Industrial Field of Application] The present invention is a method for developing a photosensitive material such as a roll of film or photographic paper by bringing it into contact with a jelly-like processing agent so that it can be developed in a short time. This invention relates to improvements in photosensitive material developing devices.

[Background of the Invention] General photosensitive materials involve processing steps such as development, fixing, washing, and drying, and the processing equipment is large-scale and requires a considerable amount of processing time. This has led to the development of so-called instant-type photographic materials and processing agents in which development is performed using a jelly-like processing agent that does not require steps such as washing and drying. However, as is well known, processing agents generally have extremely strong reducing power, so the jelly-like processing agent is also sealed in a bag, which is opened for the first time during development, and the developer is squeezed onto the surface of the photosensitive material.
Because the developing process is carried out by uniformly contacting the photosensitive material with the photosensitive material, it is not easy to carry out this process on a long photosensitive material.

In view of this, the present inventors have conducted extensive research, and in JP-A No. 59-77444 filed by the present applicant, a jelly-like processing agent is applied onto the guide web W in a dark box, and the photographed The long photosensitive material F is rolled up onto a winding shaft 7 driven by a built-in motor, and after a certain period of rest, the film is rewound by the motor to develop the long photosensitive material F. Proposed and devised an automatic developing device.

However, in the above proposal, as shown in FIG. 3, when the kite web W and the photosensitive material A are overlapped and wound up or unwound, the guide web and the photosensitive material are overlapped and sandwiched together between a plurality of rollers. Therefore, there are problems in that uneven development of the photosensitive material and misalignment occur when the guide web and the photosensitive material are wound up due to the influence of the axis adjustment and precision of the rollers.

[Structure of the Invention] The object of the present invention is to provide a developing device that develops the photosensitive material by winding up a guide web containing a processing agent together with the photosensitive material in a dark box and then unwinding the guide web and the photosensitive material. This is achieved by a photosensitive material developing device having means for pressing from one direction after overlapping.

FIG. 1 is a diagram showing an embodiment of the present invention. In the figure, 1 is the main body, and 2 is the lid, both of which are made of a material that does not transmit light. A lid 2 that opens and closes with respect to the main body 1 is opened and closed using a hinge 3 as a rotation axis, and is held in a closed state by an opening/closing fitting 4. The joint between the main body 1 and the lid 2 is assembled by fitting with unevenness or grooves, and when the lid is closed, the interior becomes a dark box state, and the development process is performed inside the dark box.

The photosensitive material is, for example, a rolled film 7 that has been photographed and is housed in the cartridge shaft, and the leading end of the film 7 is exposed when it is housed. The photosensitive material may be roll photographic paper. The cartridge P is mounted and loaded so as to engage with a cartridge shaft 5 provided on the main body 1.

Here, the leading end of the guide web W and the leading end of the roll film 7 are pulled out and attached to the winding shaft 7 provided in the main body 1. In this embodiment, there are 7 hooks 8 around the circumference of the winding shaft 7, and the guide web W and the roll film 7 are mounted so that they are overlapped and hooked, but the mounting method on the winding shaft 7 is You can freely insert it, drop it in, or autoload it. Further, the guide web W and the roll film F may be locked at different locations.

Then, when the lid 2 is closed on the main body 1, the roller 10 at the tip of the pressure contact member 9 provided on the lid 2 presses the roll film F and the guide web W, increasing the adhesion between them. Winding shaft 7
is rotated to wind up the roll film F and guide web W. At this time, the developer on the guide web W is placed between the two, and is spread by the squeezing action of the roller 10, and is uniformly spread over the entire surface of the roll film F. This pressing strength may be sufficient to maintain the adhesion state between the two, and it is sufficient that the developer has an intermediate spreadability. In Fig. 4, the pressure contact member 9 is connected to the main body 1.
This is an embodiment in which the guide web W is provided in the guide web W side and pressed against the guide web W side.

When the winding operation of the roll film F was completed, it was left to stand for several minutes, and the cartridge shaft 5 and the guide web shaft 6 were reversed to unwind it, whereby the roll film P of the cartridge P was developed. Roll film? was uniformly developed (with no development unevenness on the entire surface) and a clear image was obtained.

In the present invention, the overlapping state of the roll film F and the guide web W is pressed by a pressing member from one direction, or the pressed portion is the roll film? It can be changed arbitrarily depending on the type of cartridge and the fixed position of cartridge P. It is preferable to set the pressure member at a position where the pressing member can sufficiently exert the squeezing action that imparts spreadability to the developer.

[Effects of the Invention] Since the present invention makes pressure contact at one location, there is no need for alignment using upper and lower rollers, and the adhesion between the roll film and the guide web can be maintained reliably. Therefore, the production process can be simplified.
