Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate sound leakage through a clearance, to prevent the occurrence of howling and to increase the output of a hearing aid by forming an ear type case with a soft synthetic resin which has a certain hardness range and is made of a soft vinyl chroride. CONSTITUTION:In order to obtain the ear type case 1, first an impression material such as a silicone resin, and 'GUTAPERKA(R)' is packed into each individual ear-couch or external auditory so as to obtain the impression of the inner surface of an outer ear and from the impression mold a matrix is formed with plaster, etc. The soft synthetic resin such as a soft vinyl chroride resin, a silicone resin or a polyester resin is poured into the matrix at a wall thickness having 1-2mm and is cured, thereby obtaining the ear type case 1. The most preferable hardness of the soft synthetic resin is a range from 40 deg. to 65 deg. according to JIS standard K7125A. A face plate 2 is provided with a microphone 3, a volume switch 4, a voltage case 3 serving as a power source, a gain controller 6, etc. and is formed with the hard synthetic resin such as an acrylic resin and an ABS resin having a sufficient strength.

うな場合補聴器を外耳道内に密着して挿入できず、従っ
て補聴器外壁面と外耳道内壁面との間に隙き間ができ、
音が漏れてハウリング現象が生じ易くなるという問題点
も存在していた。

質塩化ビニル樹脂等の軟質合成樹脂で形成するようにし
、しかも当該軟質合成樹脂をJIS K 7215Aに
基づく硬さ45°から65°の範囲のものを使用する様
にする。

耳殻並びに外耳道にシリコン樹脂、グタペルカ等の印象
材を充填して外耳内面の印象を採り、次いでこの印象型
から石膏等により母型を作成した上、この母型に対して
肉厚1〜2B程度にして軟質塩化ビニル樹脂・シリコン
樹脂・ポリエステル樹脂等の軟質合成樹脂を注入・硬化
させて作られる。ところでこの軟質合成樹脂の硬さであ
るが、柔かすぎると皮膚へのベトッキ感が生まれ、また
硬すぎると圧迫感が生まれ、いずれも良好な装用感は得
られない。最も好ましいのはJIS規格K 7125A
に基づく硬さ45°から65°の範囲のものである。し
かしてこの耳型ケース1は、その基部法が耳殻に緊密に
嵌合すると共に、その延長部IBが外耳道内に挿入され
ることになる。尚、図示はしていないが耳型ケース1の
外耳道に挿入する延長部IBの先端部、換言すれば鼓膜
側の端部にはイヤホンに接続される音孔が設けられてお
り、この音孔から補聴器によって増幅された音声信号が
鼓膜側に放射される。

等の硬質合成樹脂で成形されている。フェースプレート
2は耳型ケース1の開口部を閉鎖するように接合されて
いる。接合手段としては接着剤等適宜の手段を採り得る
。このフェースプレート2は補聴器を外耳内に挿耳状態
にしたとき外耳の入口部において実質的に垂直に位置す
ることになる。

特に外耳道壁面に直接接触する耳型ケースを軟質合成樹
脂で成形している為に、外耳道と耳型ケースとはソフト
に接触することになる。従って食事時或は会話時におけ
る口の動きに伴う外耳道近傍の筋肉の動きに対しても痛
感・不快感を覚えることはない。また同様の理由で挿耳
状態であっても長時間の横臥を可能とする。さらに補聴
器を外耳道内に十分密着して挿入できる為、耳型ケース
と外耳道壁との間に隙間が生じることなく、従って当該
隙間を介する音漏れがなく、ハウリングの発生を防止し
得、ひいては補聴器の出力をより大とすることが可能と
なる。
