In the case of a wall-mounted fan, the downward angle of the head section is adjusted in order to blow air to a desired location that is a different distance from the wall-mounted fan. This downward angle adjustment function is generally achieved by a structure in which the engaging convex part of the neck piece to which the head part is fixed is elastically engaged with the range plate of the support column in stages by a spring. Since the spring force acts similarly at different angles, it may be difficult to use. In other words, when the head part is located at a downward angle as shown in Fig. 1, the horizontal distance from the support shaft c of the neck piece a to the support column b to the center of gravity e of the head part d (x in the figure) ) will be large, and therefore the force applied to the engaging part of the engaging convex part to the range plate will be large. If you use a spring assuming this force, the head part will be at an angle close to horizontal. A large amount of force is required to adjust the head, and if a weak spring is used, the head will not be able to be fixed at the downward angle, making it extremely difficult to select a spring that is effective at both angles. Even if it was effective, it of course did not function satisfactorily.

FIG. 2 shows the overall structure of the wall fan 1, in which a neck piece 4 is attached so as to be held between support columns 3 provided on a base 2, a lower attachment part is inserted into this neck piece 4, and a head part 5 is attached. is installed and configured. The neck piece 4 rotates at the support shaft 6 of the neck piece 4 to the support column 3, and the head portion 5 changes the downward angle.
FIG. 3 shows the internal state of the above-mentioned support shaft portion 6, in which the neck piece 4 is provided with an engaging convex portion 7, and the support column 3 is provided with a range plate 8. A spring 9 is installed inside the engaging protrusion 7, and the ball 1 is biased by the spring 9.
0, the range plate 8 is provided with a plurality of circular engagement holes 11, and the engagement protrusion 7 is elastically fitted into the engagement hole 11 at the ball 10 portion of its head by the action of the spring 9. to engage. The range plate 8 has a spring, which is an engagement adjustment mechanism, so as to come into pressure contact with the engagement protrusion 7 at an end 12 which is near the area where the engagement protrusion 7 engages when the head portion 5 is in the most downward position. 9', and the engaging protrusion 7
As it advances in the direction of the arrow, it engages firmly with the engagement hole 11 of the range plate 8 step by step, and the direction of the arrow corresponds to the downward direction of the head portion 5. The dotted line in the figure shows the case where the head portion 5 is positioned at its most downward position. As the spring 9', it is of course possible to use a plastic elastic body instead of the above-mentioned spring-like spring.

FIG. 4 shows another embodiment of the range plate 8. As shown in the front view of FIG. 5, a plurality of circular engagement holes 11 are sequentially formed to have larger diameters to form an engagement adjustment mechanism. and the third one with a certain elasticity.
Even if the engaging protrusion 7 shown in the figure is pressed, it will fit deeply into the large engagement hole 11 and shallowly fit into the small engagement hole 11, that is, the engagement force will change, and the arrangement of the engagement holes 11 teeth,
The engagement force is strongest when the head portion 5 is in the downward position.

Note that if the engagement protrusion 7 is formed longer and the distance between the support shaft 6 and the engagement part of the engagement protrusion 7 to the engagement hole 11 is increased, the force applied to the engagement part will be reduced. becomes stable. Furthermore, the shapes of the engaging convex portion 7 and the engaging hole 11 may be other than those shown in the above embodiments as long as the engaging function is achieved.

This device is constructed as described above, and the presence of the engagement adjustment mechanism gradually increases the engagement force of the engagement convex portion with the range plate as the head portion becomes downwardly positioned and heavier. According to this method, the downward angle of the head portion can be adjusted smoothly at any angle without any trouble, and the time and effort required to manufacture and select an effective spring, which is required in the past, can be eliminated. In addition, when the engaging protrusion engages with the engaging hole, it makes a positioning sound, making it convenient to use.
