When the detected external sound is smaller than the previous value, the controller 2 acts to make the output of the head phone 4 lower. When a filter adjusted to the aural characteristics of human beings is installed to the sensor 1, the volume control is felt highly naturally. Therefore, troublesome volume control by users is eliminated.
