In addition, it is necessary to separate the drying circulating air and the cooling air near the air outlet on the outer periphery of the heat exchange type blower, which requires a seal structure for air sealing, which increases cost and separates the drying circulating air from the cooling air. Complete sealing is difficult because there is a pressure difference between the cooling air and the cooling air. Moreover, depending on long-term use, there are problems in terms of reliability due to wear of the seal, etc., and there are also problems such as the need for extra starting torque of the motor.

The circulating air for drying is heated by a heating element, heats the clothes in the clothes storage, passes through a circulation fan, passes between the fins of a heat exchanger that also serves as a partition wall, and returns to the heating element via a drying air path. Head in the direction. Cooling air is drawn in from outside the machine, passes through a cooling fan, passes between the fins of a heat exchanger that also serves as a partition wall, and exits the machine again via a cooling air path. and,
Both air flows next to each other with a partition wall in between, and at this time,
Heat is transferred from the high-temperature, high-humidity drying circulating air to the low-temperature cooling air through a heat exchanger that also serves as a partition wall, and the circulating air is cooled, and the moisture contained in it condenses and forms water droplets. Water is drained and the circulating air for drying is dehumidified.

In the above configuration, when the power is turned on and the motor (not shown) is rotated, the rotational force is used to connect the circulation fan 18 and the cooling fan 1.
9 and clothes drying cabinet 16, a circulating air flow 26 and a cooling air flow 27 are generated by the respective fans 18,19. The circulating air for drying is heated by the heating element 24 and then heats the clothes in the clothes drying cabinet 16. Thereafter, the air passes through the circulation fan 18, passes between the fins 20& of the heat exchanger 2o which also serves as a partition wall, and heads toward the heating body 24 again via the circulation air cylinder 23. Cooling air is sucked in from outside the machine, passes through the cooling fan 19, passes between the fins 20b of the heat exchanger 20 which also serves as a partition wall, and exits the machine again via the wind IP+25. Both airs are connected to heat exchanger 2, which also serves as a partition wall made of a single thin plate.
At this time, heat is transferred from the high-temperature, high-humidity drying circulating air to the lower-temperature cooling air via the heat exchanger 2o, which also serves as a partition wall, and the circulating air It is cooled, and the water contained therein condenses into water droplets and is drained from the drain port 28. Therefore, the drying circulating air is dehumidified and the clothes in the clothes dryer 16 are dried.

Effects of the Invention In the present invention, the intermediate portion of both the circulation fan and the cooling fan is partitioned by a heat exchanger that also serves as a partition wall, and this heat exchanger has fins radially attached to both sides near the outer periphery of the fan. Therefore, the heat exchange performance can be greatly improved, and the following effects are also achieved.

That is, since the blowing function section and the heat exchange function section are provided separately, the fan can be rotated at high speed, and the thickness of the heat exchanger can be made extremely thin. Furthermore, since the middle part of both fans is partitioned, the opening area of the rotating shaft penetrating part can be reduced, and the conventional seal structure that separates drying circulating air and cooling air is no longer required, simplifying the configuration. At the same time, reliability is improved, and the driving torque of the motor can be reduced, so costs can be reduced. Clothes dryers in particular have a pressure difference between the circulating air for drying and the cooling air, so air leaks are likely to occur due to this pressure difference, and the outer periphery from which the air is blown must be sealed. However, eliminating the seal section can improve the performance of the clothes dryer. In addition, the fins near the outer periphery of the fan are radial and also serve as air guides, resulting in smoother air flow, less heat exchange loss, and a more compact configuration.
