In order to solve this problem, the conventional umbrella water drop removal device that has been proposed is
As is known from Japanese Patent No. 139530, a mesh cylinder having several inward protrusions is arranged inside a cylinder having a drain port at the bottom, and the mesh cylinder has several protrusions facing inward. An annular space was formed in between, a switch button was attached to the bottom of the mesh tube, an umbrella was inserted into the mesh tube and the tip of the umbrella was pressed on the switch button, thereby rotating the electric motor and attaching it to the tube. There are devices that generate negative pressure in the space using a suction fan, and devices that remove drops from the umbrella using a centrifugal dewatering method, such as the umbrella dewatering device disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 55-26050. However, although this type of device has the advantage of sufficiently removing droplets, it is necessary to place the umbrellas one by one into the device and wait until the dehydration is finished, so hotels and halls where large numbers of people come and go. , theaters, etc. had the problem of inconvenience due to congestion of people at the entrance.

[Purpose of the invention] This invention was developed in view of the above circumstances, and by inserting and transporting the umbrella between a pair of belt bodies, it is possible to remove water droplets from multiple umbrellas continuously in a short period of time. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a device for wiping off water droplets from an umbrella.

[Structure of the invention] The structure of the invention to achieve the above object is to provide a pair of belt bodies made of a water-absorbing material or a material having water-absorbing property and elasticity, and to place the belt bodies close to each other in a vertically facing state. Alternatively, the belt bodies are suspended from a driving member so as to mutually rotate in opposite directions in the lateral direction while in contact with each other, and are inserted vertically between a pair of belt bodies by pressing a squeezing roller that squeezes out the rainwater absorbed in a proper place on the belt body. The rain umbrella is being sent to the side while the water droplets are being wiped off.

Fig. 1 is a perspective view of the inventive device in use as seen from the exterior, Fig. 2 is a perspective view showing the internal structure, and Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view showing the operation. A pair of thick belt bodies 1 and 1a made of a material such as sponge are provided, and the belt bodies 1 and 1a are vertically opposed to each other and are rotated in opposite directions in the horizontal direction while being close to each other or in contact with each other. A pair of belt bodies 1, 1a are suspended from a driving member 2, and are brought into pressure contact with a squeezing roller 3 that squeezes out the rainwater absorbed in appropriate positions of the belt bodies 1, 1a, as shown in FIG.
Umbrella a is vertically inserted into space 1a and is sent out laterally while its water drops are wiped off.

Reference numeral 2a indicates a drive roller that suspends the pair of belt bodies 1 and 1a, and 2b indicates a similar driven roller, each of which is pivotally connected to the support frame 3. A motor 2c is connected to rotate in reverse. The squeezing roller 3 is also pivotally mounted to the support frame while being pressed against the belt bodies 1, 1a. The pair of belt members 1 and 1a may have the same length and be completely opposed to each other, but it is easier to insert and remove the umbrella a if they are slightly shifted in the lateral direction as shown in FIG.

It is good if the pair of belt bodies 1, 1a has elasticity, but if the material is poor in elasticity such as cloth, the force that presses the pair of belt bodies 1, 1a against each other may be applied by an elastic machine (not shown). May be granted.
Further, the belt body 1a may be formed by providing cloth on the surface of a sponge.

In the drawings, the drive member 2 may be a chain, a sprocket, or the like using a roller. Further, it is desirable that the feeding speeds of the pair of belt members 1 and 1a be the same, but they may be slightly different. In the figure, 3a is a through hole.

After the umbrella a is manually inserted through the vertical groove 4a, it is sandwiched and held between the belt bodies 1 and 1a, and the water droplets are absorbed and transferred laterally by the water absorption action of the belt bodies 1 and 1a. After that, it is automatically discharged and stored in the receiver 6.

Since the present invention is as described above, the umbrella a is sandwiched between the pair of belt bodies 1 and 1a, and the raindrops are removed while the umbrella is being transported in a good condition, making it easier to handle and compared to the conventional device. Since such a long waiting time is not required, even a plurality of belts can be inserted into the belt bodies 1, 1a in succession. Furthermore, since it is possible to transport the umbrella and take it out from inside the receiver 6 while walking, it is very efficient. Therefore, if the device of the present invention is installed at the entrance of a hotel, hall, theater, etc., a person can easily insert the umbrella a and hold the umbrella from which water droplets have been removed while walking.

[Effects of the invention] The invention provides a pair of belt bodies made of water-absorbing material or a material having water-absorbing property and elasticity, and the belt bodies are vertically opposed to each other and are horizontally reversed while being close to each other or in contact with each other. A squeezing roller, which is rotatably suspended on a driving member and squeezes out the rainwater that has been efficiently absorbed in the proper place of the belt body, is brought into pressure contact with the belt body to wipe off the water droplets from the umbrella inserted vertically between the pair of belt bodies. Since it is designed so that multiple umbrellas can be inserted into the belt body in succession, it is possible to remove water droplets from multiple umbrellas in a short period of time because it can be taken out while walking while transporting the umbrellas. This reduces waiting time and has a great effect.
