以下本考案の一実施例につき第1図及び第2図
を参照して説明する。まず第1図において、Aは

に配置される外筐、2はその内部の一方側に配設
した熱交換器で、この熱交換器2は、上記外筐1
内にあつてその後上部から前下部へと開通した通
気路3と、前上部から後下部へと開通した通気路
4とを有する直交形のものであり、その上方、下
方及び前方、後方の四角部は小仕切壁5,6,
7,8によつて夫々遮絶せられている。9は外筐
1内にあつて前記熱交換器2が存する一方側と、
残り他方側とを仕切る仕切壁で、上部の前後には
通気口10,11を夫々形成している。12は吸
気用送風装置、13は排気用送風装置で、これら
を外筐1の内部の他方側にあつてその前後に並設
し、両フアン12,13の吐出口部14,15を
外筐1内上部に存する上記通気口10,11を通
して前記熱交換器2の上方に臨ませている。ここ
で前記各送風装置12,13は第2図に示すよう
に上記吐出口部14,15を夫々有したケーシン
グ16,17内にシロツコ形の遠心羽根18,1
9を夫々配設して成り、この遠心羽根18,19
はケーシング16,17間に配設した一個の両軸
形モータ20によつて回転される。21は吸気用
送風装置12の吸入口であり、この吸入口21
を、第2図に示すように、その下縁部21aをケ
ーシング16にあつて遠心羽根18の内下縁部1
8aと略合致させる形態にて且つ全体としては該
遠心羽根18内縁空間の下方部であつて家屋外壁
CのひさしDを外す部位に形成している。ここ
で、吸入口21を特に遠心羽根18の中心部でな
く本実施例のようにそこからずれた位置に形成す
ると、送風性能の低下、即ち吸気作用の低下等空
調換気扇としの機能低下が懸念されるのである
が、本出願人において研究した結果、遠心羽根に
おいて吸入口は羽根の中心部でなくとも雨根の内
縁に囲まれた範囲内(即ち前述した遠心羽根18
の内縁空間)に臨むものであれば性能の低下を殆
んど来たさず少なくとも空調換気扇としての実用
性を損わないことが判明し、上記懸念は解消でき
た。尚、排気用送風装置13の吸入口22はケー
シング17にあつて遠心羽根19の中心部付近に
形成している。23は吸気用送風装置12の吸入
口21に外筐1外から連結した吸気用ダクトであ
る。24は吸気用送風装置12によつて吸入した
室外空気を熱交換器2の通気路3を通して室内へ
吐出するための室内側吐出口で、通気通路の関係
から外筐1にあつて熱交換器2側の前面下部に形
成している。25は室内空気を排気用送風装置1
3に通すための室内側吸気口で、これを外筐1に
あつて排気用送風装置13側の側面に形成してい
る。26は排気用送風装置13によつて吸引した
室内空気を熱交換器2の通気路4を通して室外に
排出するための排気口で、これを通気経路の関係
上外筐1の熱交換器2側にあつて後面、中でも略
最下部に形成している。ここで前記吸入口21は
この排気口26と略同じ高さに位置させている。

にあつては此処が熱交換器2のいわば排気面部に
全面的に臨んでいて上記通気路4を通じて排出せ
られる空気を何処の部所からも一様に排出できる
ため、前述の如く排気口26を其処の略最下部に
形成しても勿論充分且つ円滑な排気ができるもの
であり、斯くして排気口26を外筐1の一方側後
方下部中でも此処の略最下部に形成し得たことに
合わせ、排気用ダクト27も外筐1の略最下部に
位置させ得る。一方、吸気用送風装置12の吐出
口部14も外筐1内上部において熱交換器2に臨
ませたから、自ずと該吸気用送風装置12の吸入
口21の形成位置を外筐1にあつて下方部に転移
でき、その上、本実施例においては、吸入口21
を、その下縁部21aをケーシング16にあつて
遠心羽根18の内下縁部18aと略合致させる形
態にて且つ全体としては該遠心羽根18内縁空間
の下方部であつて家屋外壁CのひさしDを外す部
位に形成したから、前述の如く吸気用送風装置1
2においての吸気作用を妨げない範囲内での略最
下方部に吸入口21を位置させ得、よつて吸気用
ダクト23を外筐1の下部に位置させた排気用ダ
クト27と合わせるべく外筐1の下部にひさしD
を外して配置でき、総じてこの排気用ダクト27
及び吸気用ダクト23の双方を外筐1の下部にし
かも極力水平位置に配置できるのである。

る形態にて該遠心羽根の内縁空間の下方部であつ
て家屋外壁のひさしを外す部位に形成したことを
特徴とするものであり、これにて、室壁にあつて
その窓より上方部にひさしが存する場合でも、そ
の窓より上方部への取付けを可能ならしめ得、以
て室壁の如何なる部位でも取付けることができ、
さらには工事も容易にすることができるという実
用的に優れた効果を奏する空調換気扇を提供でき
るものである。
