In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes the main body of the air conditioner, which has an inlet and an outlet (both not shown) on the front side (indoor side), and an inlet part 2 on the rear side (outdoor side). , and an air outlet 3 are provided respectively. Reference numeral 4 denotes an outdoor heat exchanger that constitutes a well-known refrigeration cycle together with a compressor, an indoor heat exchanger, etc. (none of which are shown), and is located in a ventilation circuit formed by an air guider 5 and indicated by an arrow in FIG. It is set in. 6 is a blower provided in the ventilation circuit. Reference numeral 7 denotes a water tray made of synthetic resin that receives dehumidified water dehumidified by the indoor heat exchanger (not shown), and is fixed to the outdoor heat exchanger 4 with screws or the like, and has a water tray on one side thereof. As shown in Figure 4,
A drain pipe 10 having a slit 8 in the upper part and a convex part 9 on the outer periphery of the end is integrally molded. Reference numeral 11 is a box-shaped joint made of synthetic resin, and has an insertion pipe 13 for the drain hose 12 on one side.
The water tray 7 is provided on the side surface adjacent to the surface provided with the water tray 7.
A drain pipe 10 and a connecting pipe 15 rotatably fitted through a packing 14 made of rubber or the like are each integrally provided, and the upper surface is open to form a drain port 16. A lid 17 made of rubber or the like is removably inserted into the drain port 16 without any gaps by utilizing its elasticity. Reference numeral 18 denotes a protective guard for the blower 6 and the like, which is formed in a lattice shape from wire or the like, and is fixed to the outdoor heat exchanger 4 by hooks, screws, or other suitable means. Reference numeral 19 denotes a storage recess (hereinafter simply referred to as the recess) formed by bending the portion of the protective guard 18 located inside the air outlet 3 into a concave shape, and the drain hose 12 can be connected when the air conditioner is not in use. It can be rotated from the joint 11 and stored and fixed in the recess 19.

However, the conventional drainage structure in this type of air conditioner has a joint 11a as shown in FIGS. 8 and 9.
One side 16a of the was open. This is due to the molding of the joint 11a, but with such a configuration, when the drain hose 12a is rotated when the drain hose 12a is stored, one side 16a of the drain hose 12a rotates backward, and the drain is removed. There was a configuration in which the condensed water remaining in the hose 12a and the condensed water remaining in the indoor water pan (not shown) and the outdoor water pan 7 spilled into the board from one surface 6a of the joint 11a. Therefore, when rainwater accumulates inside the board due to long rains, for example, the condensed water overflows from the board and drips onto the window frame and the like, causing problems such as wetting the sill and the like from there.

However, in this embodiment, when the operation is stopped and the window is closed with the air conditioner attached to the window, the drain hose 12 is connected to the recess 19 of the protective guard 18.
Box-shaped fitting 1 even when stored at an angle of 90 degrees
A lid 17 made of rubber or the like is removably inserted into the drain port 16 provided on the top surface of the drain hole 16, so that no water remains in the indoor water pan (not shown), the outdoor water pan 7, etc. Condensed water will not spill onto the substrate 20. Therefore, even if rainwater or the like remains inside the board 20 due to prolonged rain, there is no fear that the rainwater will overflow from the board 20 and damage the window frame side. Furthermore, since the lid 17 is inserted in a detachable manner, even if the drain port 13 becomes clogged with dirt, etc., the fitting 11, the drain hose 12, etc. can be cleaned by removing the lid 17. . Further, since the joint 11 is provided with the drain port 16, the molding process of the joint 11 made of synthetic resin or the like becomes easy, and the number of processing steps can be reduced.

As is clear from the above embodiments, the drainage structure of the air conditioner according to the present invention is made of synthetic resin or the like, which accommodates the condensed water from the heat exchanger, in the air conditioner body equipped with a heat exchanger, a blower, etc. A water tray is provided, and one side of a box-shaped joint whose inside communicates with the water tray is rotatably connected to one side of the water tray. In the rotating position, a lid made of rubber or the like is removably inserted into the open drain port located on the side, and a drain hose is attached to one side of the joint. Since the drain port on one side of the fitting has a lid, any condensed water remaining in the drain hose will flow back into the water tray and into the fitting, where it will be collected and the condensed water will be removed. does not spill out into the board, and by removing the lid, the inside of the joint can be cleaned, preventing clogging of the drain hose, etc. Furthermore, by providing a drainage port on the joint, synthetic resin It has various advantages, such as simplifying the molding process of the joint made of the same material and reducing the number of processes.
