DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a plastic container for a liquid adhesive that has excellent ability to prevent the liquid adhesive from hardening in an unopened state or during storage after the container is unsealed. Many liquid adhesives known as instant adhesives, such as alpha-cyanoacrylate adhesives, react rapidly with moisture in the air to form a cured film. Until now, containers made of plastic, which are chemically stable to the liquid adhesive contained therein, have been used as containers for such liquid adhesives. These containers are molded by a known molding method such as blow molding with the liquid adhesive outlet closed.
When in use, the closed portion is opened with a suitable opening device such as a piercing needle, and dripping of the liquid adhesive can be started by lightly pressing the side wall portion of the container with a fingertip. Therefore, in order to elastically deform the side wall portion of the container to such an extent that the liquid adhesive can be dropped by light pressure, the wall thickness of the side wall portion must be formed to be relatively thin. The plastic material forming the side wall portion is selected from a material with low gas permeability, but as mentioned above, its wall thickness is relatively thin, so gaseous components in the adhesive or the surrounding area of the side wall may pass through the side wall portion. It has been practically impossible to completely prevent air from passing through with conventional adhesive containers. When moisture in the air reacts with the gaseous components in the adhesive, a rapid hardening reaction occurs in the adhesive, and the gaseous components of the liquid adhesive leaking from the outlet after the lid is opened are exposed to the surface of the container. In conventional liquid adhesive containers, the liquid adhesive adheres to surfaces and hardens, causing a whitening phenomenon on the adhering surface. Because the agent deteriorates rapidly, the liquid adhesive in the container often hardens and becomes unusable while unopened or during storage after the container is unsealed.

The inner cylinder 30 should be made of a material that does not allow the gaseous components in the liquid adhesive or the moisture in the air around the inner cylinder to permeate, and to achieve this purpose, the material should not allow the liquid adhesive to adhere to the wall of the inner cylinder. It is desirable to use a thermoplastic material such as high density polyethylene to provide effective elastic deformability for agent evacuation. The inner cylinder 30 is molded by a known molding method such as injection molding, and by lightly pressing the side wall of the inner cylinder with a fingertip with the cap removed, liquid adhesive can be dripped from the discharge port 36. It has a relatively thin vessel wall thickness that can initiate.

In the illustrated example, the second seal portion includes a projecting portion 44 that has a diameter slightly smaller than the diameter of the outer wall surface of the inner cylinder 30 and projects inward from the inner wall surface of the cap 40, and this projecting portion. Opposing inner cylinder 30
The outer wall surface 34 of both members includes a cap 40.
When attached to the inner cylinder 30, it tightly adheres to the inner cylinder 30 with elastic engagement, thereby blocking the minute gap 50 between the inner wall surface of the cap 40 and the outer wall surface of the inner cylinder 30 from air flowing in from outside the system. do. Note that, between the inner wall surface near the open end of the cap 40 and the outer wall surface of the inner cylinder 30, a seal is formed between the cap 40 and the inner cylinder 30 in cooperation with the second seal part.

is provided. In the illustrated example,
The locking portion is connected to the outer wall surface of the inner cylinder 30 and the cap 4.
By tightening the screws, the cap 40 is secured onto the inner cylinder 30 and the sealing effect of the second seal portion is reinforced. By blocking air flowing in from outside the system by the second sealing part and the locking part, the liquid adhesive in the inner cylinder 30 can be maintained in a good storage state for a long period of time without being hardened. In the illustrated example, in order to improve the adhesion between the overhanging portion 44 and the outer wall surface 34 of the inner cylinder 30 facing thereto, a portion of the outer wall surface 34 is gradually reduced in diameter toward the discharge port 36 side. However, the structure of the second seal portion is not limited to this example;
The material can be arbitrarily selected as long as it can form a strong sealing structure therebetween when attached to the inner cylinder 30.

On the other hand, the inner wall of the bottomed grip 10 is provided with a protrusion 18 that presses the plug 20 in the sealing direction by adhering to the inner cylinder 30. The lateral flange 22 of the plug 20 is thus pressed against the inner cylinder 30, forming a strong seal between the two members. Further, between the inner wall surface of the bottomed grip 10 and the outer wall surface of the inner cylinder 30, third seal parts 12, 16, 33 are attached to the inner cylinder 30 to airtightly engage the two wall surfaces. ,3
5, and 37 are provided. In the illustrated example, the third seal portion includes a second protrusion that forms an acute angle with respect to the attachment direction of the bottomed grip 10 at a position opposite to the protrusion 18 along the inner wall surface of the bottomed grip. The inclined surface 16 of the portion 12, the inclined surface 16
a step portion having a vertical surface 37 for elastically engaging with the bottomed grip 10 and a sliding surface 33 whose height gradually increases along the attachment direction of the bottomed grip 10; It is formed from the outer wall surface 35 of the inner cylinder 30 that comes into close contact with the protrusion 12 in a resiliently engaged state. Third seal portion and protrusion 18
When the bottomed grip 10 is attached to the inner cylinder 30, the plug 20 is pressed against the inner cylinder 30 in the sealing direction, and the bottomed grip 10 and the inner cylinder 30 are brought into close contact with each other, so that there is a firm bond between these members. Their relative dimensions and shapes are determined to provide a good seal. In order to further improve the sealing performance between the plug 20 and the inner cylinder 30, in the above embodiment, after filling the inner cylinder 30 with liquid adhesive, the plug 20 is inserted into the inner cylinder 3.
It may be bonded to 0 by any suitable method.

On the other hand, in a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the grip 10 has an open end portion and a radial direction from the outer wall surface of the inner cylinder 30 that contacts the open end portion when the bottomed grip 10 is mounted on the inner cylinder 30. A bottomed grip 10 is attached to the flange portion 14' extending to the flange portion 14'.
Engagement locking means 14 and 38 are provided to prevent mutual rotation between the inner cylinder 30 and the inner cylinder 30. This interlocking locking means allows the bottomed grip 10 to rotate relative to the inner tube 30 due to the mutual movement between the locking portions when the cap 40 is removed from the inner tube 30 in order to start applying the liquid adhesive. In the above specific example, the bottomed grip 1
First tooth-shaped recesses 14 (FIG. 5) formed at equal intervals along the circumference of the opening end of the flange portion 14', and second tooth-shaped recesses formed on the surface of the flange portion 14' facing the bottomed grip 10. The tooth profile 38 (FIG. 6) is comprised of a tooth profile 38 (FIG. 6), and both tooth profiles have an engaging surface shape that allows surface contact and are arranged at equal pitches so that the protrusion of the tooth profile 38 exactly fits into the tooth profile recess 14. There is. In the specific example shown in FIG. 2, four tooth shapes 38 are formed along the circumferential direction on the side surface of the flange portion 14', and twelve tooth shapes 38 are formed along the circumferential direction on the open end portion of the bottomed grip 10. A tooth-shaped recess 14 is formed,
The shape and number of tooth profiles are not limited to this example, but can be arbitrarily designed within the range where both tooth profiles can surely engage and provide a mutual rotation prevention function between the bottomed grip 10 and the inner cylinder 30. Can be changed.

As previously explained, the adhesive outlet 36 of the inner cylinder 30 is connected to the first adhesive outlet provided on the inner bottom surface of the cap 40 when the cap 40 is attached onto the inner cylinder 30.
It is firmly sealed by the seal portion 48'.
However, regardless of the sealing condition, excess adhesive that flowed out from the discharge port 36 during bonding work tends to remain attached near the drip port 36, and the inner wall surface of the cap 40 and the outer wall surface of the inner cylinder 30 tend to remain attached. There is a tendency for the gaseous components of the adhesive that have flowed into the small gap 50 between the two to adhere to the wall surface of the inner tube 30, react with moisture in the air, and cause a whitening phenomenon in that area. Since the whitening phenomenon reduces the transparency of the inner cylinder 30 and, in severe cases, impairs the flexibility of the inner cylinder and the operability of the side wall portion of the inner cylinder with fingertips, the volume of the flow area of the gaseous component should be kept as small as possible. It is desirable to have one.

Therefore, in a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the flow of gaseous components generated from the liquid adhesive is prevented between the inner wall of the cap 40 and the outer wall of the inner cylinder 30 in the vicinity of the first sealing portion 48'. Additional seals 39 and 48 are provided for this purpose. In the illustrated embodiment, the additional seal includes a sloped outer wall surface 39 of the inner tube 30 having an increasing diameter portion located adjacent the outlet 36 and a cap 40 attached onto the inner tube 30. It is formed of an annular projection 48 projecting inwardly from the inner wall surface of the cap 40, which elastically engages with the inclined outer wall surface 39 to form a sealing structure there. This additional seal portion prevents the flow of gaseous components generated from the adhesive, and at the same time blocks the flow of air from the minute gap portion 50 to the outlet 36 or the first seal portion 48'. As is clear from the above description, the inner cylinder 30 of the liquid adhesive container according to the present invention is substantially mostly covered by the bottomed grip 10 and the cap 40 when the lid is closed. It has extremely good blocking properties against moisture-containing air that attempts to flow in from outside the system as well as gaseous components contained in the liquid adhesive. Therefore, the container according to the present invention does not contain α-cyano, which has been found to have problems such as hardening of the unused adhesive or whitening of the inner cylinder in the unopened state or during the storage period after the sealed state is released. It is extremely useful as a container for liquid adhesives such as acrylate adhesives. Also, when applying liquid adhesive to the material to be adhered, rotate the cap to remove it from the inner cylinder, bring the discharge port close to the adhesive area, and then lightly press the side wall of the inner cylinder with your fingertips. You can easily start dripping the liquid adhesive by just using the machine.
