However, conventional guitar tuners have the drawback that although they can tune the guitar to an absolute reference frequency, they cannot tune to frequencies based on other guitars or other musical instruments. Furthermore, since there is only one input terminal, there is a drawback that when tuning another guitar or other musical instrument, the plug inserted into the input terminal must be replaced.

Therefore, in order to solve these drawbacks of the conventional guitar tuner, this invention has a plurality of input terminals, and by changing the switch, it is possible to tune the reference and quasi-absolute tones as in the conventional method, and it is also possible to tune the standard/quasi-absolute tone as in the conventional case. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a guitar tuner that displays frequency deviations between instruments and allows tuning between instruments.

In order to solve all of the above problems, the present invention provides a plurality of input terminals for a guitar tuner, and uses a changeover switch to display all frequency deviations from the standard absolute tone of the guitar connected to the input terminal, and also displays the frequency difference between the guitar tuner connected to the input terminal and the reference absolute tone. The frequency difference between the guitar or other instrument connected to the instrument can be detected and displayed through the comparator.

[Function J] A guitar tuner with the above functions can not only be used in the same way as before, but also be used to accurately correct tuning deviations between instruments, even between songs played by a band consisting of several people. This allows tuning based on the sound of a single instrument.

In FIG. 1, a plurality of inputs input to an input selection circuit 1 are selected by a tuning/comparison changeover switch 5 as to whether they are to be tuned to a reference absolute tone or compared with other inputs. In the case of tuning to the reference absolute tone, the input selected by the input selection main switch 6 enters the tuner 4, and the frequency is compared with the reference absolute tone corresponding to the string selected by the string selection switch 8, and the frequency of the string is determined. The deviation is displayed on the meter display.

When the tuning/comparison changeover switch 5 is set to the comparison changeover, the input selected by the input changeover main switch 6 and the input changeover subswitch 7 enters the comparator 2, which detects the difference between the two input frequencies and displays the meter. 3 is displayed. FIG. 2 is an example in which the comparator 20 portion in FIG. 1 is drawn in detail.

The two signals output from the input selection circuit 1 enter an f-4 converter 11 and an f-7 converter 12, respectively, and their frequencies are converted into DC voltages. Next, the difference is taken by the subtractor 13, and the voltage difference is sent to the meter display device 5 together with the meter 0 bias 14 corresponding to the 0 part of the display to calculate the difference in frequency between the two inputs. Display as a meter.

FIG. 3 shows a guitar tuner according to an embodiment of the present invention, which has three input terminals. Input terminal A21, input terminal B22
FIG. 4 shows an example in which musical instruments are connected to the input terminals 025 and 025, respectively. The switch 26 is used to change over the state of 'fIL source OFF, the state of tuning the reference absolute tone, and the state of comparison with other musical instruments input. The switch 24 selects the input for tuning the reference absolute tone. The switch 25 also selects the input to be compared. The switch 27 is a string selection switch used when tuning the reference absolute tone. When the instruments are connected as shown in FIG. 4, the input selection is set to guitar 31 and keyboard 35, and guitar 51'f! : Tune according to the keyboard 53, then select the input to the guitar 31.
Guitar 52 can be tuned to match Guitar 5211: Guitar 31.
