Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable favorable punching to be conducted while continuously moving a stencil paper, by a system wherein a stopping mechanism is operated through a cam, and the cam profile of the cam is appropriately designed to thereby determine a relative stopping timing of a stencil paper. CONSTITUTION:A punching die 10 is vertically moved by an eccentric action of a punching mechanism 4, and the die 10 and a back-up plate 6 cooperate in performing a punching motion. The stencil paper 2 continuously moved is brought into a stopped condition relative to the die 10, by oscillation of support links 13, 14 of the stopping mechanism. In this case, this condition is generated when moving rollers 15, 16 of the links 13, 14 are moved leftward in the figure, and the stencil paper 2 can be punched at the relative stopping timing S. The relative stopping timing S is determined by a cam curve of the cam 20, and by appropriately designing the cam curve, a relative stopping timing at which the stencil paper is fully stopped can be obtained. Accordingly, the stencil paper 2 and the punching die 10 can be prevented from being slidden relatively to each other, and adverse effects of marring of the stencil paper 2, errors in feeding quantity of the stencil paper 2 or the like on the product can be obviated.

However, as shown in the speed diagrams above, the stop mechanism 59) is a lever crank mechanism, so although the base paper 6υ stops momentarily, it does not stop from the start of punching to the end of punching, and therefore the traveling base paper 61) is punched out. As a result, mutual slippage occurs, and the punching blade dies catch and damage the base paper 6υ, or an error occurs in the feeding amount of the base paper 6υ, which adversely affects the product.

Since this embodiment has the above configuration, the punching blade die σ1 moves up and down due to the eccentric action of the punching mechanism aυ, and the punching movement is caused by the cooperative action of the punching blade die and the receiving plate (6). At the same time, the continuously running base paper (2) is brought into a stopped state relative to the punching blade die (1 (1) by the swinging of the support link (13 (141) of the stop mechanism (3). Support link [3a
This occurs when the moving roller (15) of 4) moves in a row to the left in the figure (when moving to the right, the base paper runs at an increased speed), and the base paper (2) is moved at this relative stop period (8). Can be punched out.

In this case, the relative stop timing (8) is determined by the cam curve of cam 4, and by its design, it is possible to obtain the relative stop timing (8) at which the base paper completely stops, and this relative stop timing ( 8) It is possible to punch out the base paper (2), and it is possible to eliminate mutual slippage between the base paper (2) and the punching knife shape, thereby preventing scratches on the base paper (2) and errors in the feed amount of the base paper (2). It is possible to avoid adverse effects on products due to such factors.
