Abstract

PURPOSE:To inform incoming by either a slave set or a master set by allowing the master set to take over the incoming notice when no incoming notice is applied by the slave set. CONSTITUTION:When an incoming call comes from a trunk line 1 and a radio telephone set is activated normally, transmittion/reception between the master set 2 and the slave set 3 is conducted until a handset 36 of the slave set 3 is hooked off in response to the incoming notice. When the slave set 3 cannot apply incoming notice, the master set 2 detects its state and energizes a speaker 26 to take over the incoming notice of the slave set 3. After the incoming notice by the master set 2, the operator nearby visits the slave set 3 and turns on the power supply for the slave set 3 to as to make the slave set 3 apply incoming notice.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Technical Field of the Invention] The present invention relates to an incoming call notification system for a wireless telephone device comprising a base unit connected to a central office line and a slave unit connected to the base unit via a wireless line. In particular, when it is not possible to notify an incoming call due to the location and operational circumstances of the handset, the handset takes over the role of incoming call notification (incoming call notification that increases the chances of being answered). Regarding the method.

For example, a wireless telephone device is composed of a fixed station base unit connected to a central office line, and a handset, which is a mobile station, connected to the base unit through a wireless line. It has advantages such as being large and simplifying wiring work, and is widely used in in-house telephone equipment in factories and the like. In this type of conventional radio telephone device, when the base unit detects an incoming call from a central office line, it sends a central line incoming call signal to the slave unit via the wireless line, and the slave unit receives the central line incoming call signal. When it detects the reception of the call, it notifies the incoming call by ringing the ringing bell, etc., prompting the operator to answer the call, and the handset receives the central line incoming call signal and securely notifies the incoming call. It was operated based on an incoming call notification system in which an incoming call response signal from the central office line was sent back to the base unit via the wireless line.

By the way, when considering the operation status of the handset in this type of wireless telephone device, for example, for the purpose of power saving, the handset and the handset are kept powered off during periods when they are expected to be unused, or It is not uncommon for the base unit to be moved further than necessary from the base unit to the extent that it is outside the effective wireless service area.

In the conventional incoming call notification method, in which the above-mentioned incoming call notification function could only be provided by the handset, the handset could operate under the above-mentioned special operating conditions. There was a problem in that when the system was in the central office, it was not possible to notify the incoming call and there was a high probability that the incoming call would be missed from the central office line.

Therefore, in the present invention, if the handset is unable to notify the incoming call due to the operating circumstances of the handset, the base unit takes over the incoming call notification, and either the handset or the base unit The above-mentioned purpose is achieved by making it possible to respond to a call by notifying an incoming call.

4, a speaker 35, and a handset 36. In the wireless telephone device having such a configuration, when there is an incoming call from the office line 1, the base unit 2 detects the incoming call detecting section 23.
This incoming call is detected, and at the same time, a control signal indicating that there is an incoming call is sent to the 5 control unit 21. The control unit 21, which recognizes the occurrence of the call request, transmits a station line call signal indicating the occurrence of the call request from the transmission unit 20 to the handset 3 via the transmission antenna 24. On the other hand, slave unit 3
receives the station line incoming call signal transmitted from the base unit 2 through the receiving antenna 30, and also receives the receiving unit 3.
2, and after the detection, the controller 33 is instructed to make the speaker 35 sound, thereby making a so-called incoming call notification.

Subsequently, the control unit 33 transmits to the transmitting unit a central line incoming call response signal for making the main unit 2 recognize that the central unit 3 has received the central line incoming call signal and has reliably notified the incoming call. 34 to the base unit 2 through the transmitting antenna 31. On the other hand, the base unit 2 receives the station line incoming call response signal through the receiving antenna 25 and detects it with the receiving section 22. Here, the office line incoming call signal and the office line incoming call response signal are closely related to each other and are controlled by the sequence shown below. i.e. before′
The station line incoming call signal is usually received continuously from the handset 3 at the time when the station line call is abandoned (i.e., when the other party's telephone connected to the station line 1 is hooked up). Transmission from the base unit 2 is stopped when the central office line incoming call response signal is no longer received. On the other hand, the central unit 2 stops transmitting the central line incoming call response signal at the time when the handset 3 responds to the incoming call notification (
That is, transmission from the handset 3 is stopped when the handset 36 of the handset 3 goes off-hook) or when the office line incoming call signal, which has been continuously received from the base unit 2, is no longer received. Therefore, when there is an incoming call from the station 411 and the radio telephone device is operating normally, the handset 36 of the handset 3 is turned off until the handset 36 is turned off in response to the above-mentioned nine incoming call notifications. The station line incoming call signal and the station line incoming call response signal are transmitted and received between the machine 2 and the handset 3. However, if the handset 3 is in the operating condition as described above, that is, the power is turned off,
When the handset 3 is outside the effective wireless service area, the handset 3 cannot receive the station line incoming call signal transmitted from the base unit 2, so it cannot notify the incoming call as described above.

Inevitably, the base unit 2 will not be able to receive the central office line incoming call response signal that should have been transmitted from the slave unit 3, so the base unit 2 will detect this state and transmit the signal to the speaker 26.
By ringing, the incoming call notification that would have been performed by the handset 3 is taken over. Upon receiving the incoming call notification from the base unit 2, a nearby operator rushes to the handset 3 and takes measures such as turning on the handset 3 or moving it within the effective wireless service area. Handset 3JC
It is possible to notify the user of an incoming call, greatly increasing the probability that the call will be answered. Incidentally, since the speaker 26 is usually originally installed in the base unit 2 for howler sound notification, the speaker 26 is used as the base unit 2 described above.
If the incoming call notification function is used, there is no need to add a speaker dedicated to the incoming call notification. Furthermore, even if the base unit 2 has an incoming call notification function, it does not have a transmitting/receiving function, so even if the handset 3 does not return a central line incoming call response signal, the handset 3 will continue to receive central line calls. It is also possible to use a method in which a signal is sent out to increase the number of opportunities for the handset 3 itself to notify an incoming call. In this case, the base unit 2 may be configured to stop incoming call notification by the base unit 2 while the station line incoming call signal is being sent to the slave unit 3.

As explained above, according to the incoming call notification method of the present invention, when the handset does not notify the incoming call, the base unit takes over and notifies the incoming call. This greatly reduces the probability of dropping an incoming call from the central office line compared to the conventional system, which required only the handset to notify the incoming call. It has the excellent advantage of being able to
