Conventionally, for small electronic components such as delay lines and LC filters, multiple drum cores with wire windings are fixed to a board with adhesive or double-sided adhesive tape with the upper and lower flanges of the drum cores brought into close contact with each other. In many cases, the windings are fitted and fixed into recesses previously provided on the substrate, each winding is cascaded, and a capacitor is connected to each connection point.

However, in conventional small electronic components such as delay lines and LC filters formed as described above, fixing the drum core to the substrate is extremely complicated. In particular, according to the conventional fixing method, the close contact between adjacent drum cores fluctuates, and the coupling coefficient between the windings wound around each drum core fluctuates greatly. Conventionally, it has been considered very difficult in practice to maintain a constant state of close contact between the drum cores, and no means have been provided to prevent large variations in the coupling coefficients between the respective windings.

Furthermore, the terminals drawn out from the windings of drum cores fixed adjacent to each other intersect in a complicated manner,
It was difficult to determine from which drum core the terminal was pulled out, and there was a high possibility that incorrect wiring would occur.

The present invention was developed in view of the above circumstances, and although it has a simple structure, it maintains the close contact between the drum cores, reduces variations in the coupling coefficient between each winding, and maintains the close contact between the multiple drum cores. It is an object of the present invention to provide an electronic component that can be easily fixed to a substrate while remaining in place, and furthermore, there is no risk of incorrect wiring during terminal wiring processing of the winding.

An electronic component according to the present invention for achieving the above object is characterized by the following configuration. That is, the plastic core holder has a substantially U-shaped cross section, and one longitudinal end thereof is closed to serve as a locking portion, and the other end is an insertion port. Further, a mooring portion is formed on one or both of the open end sides of the U-shape so as to protrude so as to narrow the opening width. Then, a plurality of drum cores each having a flanged portion at both ends of a winding shaft around which a winding is wound is inserted through the insertion opening so that each winding shaft is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the core holder. Further, the insertion opening of the core holder is thermally welded to the endmost drum core so that the flanges of adjacent drum cores are in close contact with each other in the core holder to form the electronic component.

1A and 1B are perspective views respectively showing an example of a core holder constituting an electronic component according to the present invention. In figures a and b, reference numeral 1 denotes a core holder made of plastic, and an opening 1A is formed in the side surface of the core holder 1, and the cross section has a substantially U-shape. Further, a locking portion 3 is integrally formed on one side of the core holder 1. In addition, in FIG. 1A, a protruding mooring portion 2 is formed at one end of the opening 1A to narrow the width of the opening, and in FIG. A mooring portion 2 is formed. Figure 2a
and b are a front view and a side view of an electronic component of the present invention using the core holder 1 of FIG. 1a. In this figure, 5, 7, 9 are winding shafts 5C, 7C, 9
For example, C is a drum core with windings 5A, 7A, and 9A made of red wire, and 6 and 8 are windings 6C and 8C.
For example, this is a drum core with windings 6A and 8A made of green wire. And each drum core 5 to 9
There are collar portions 5B, 6B, 7B, 8B on both end sides of each of the windings 5A, 6A, 7A, 8A, 9A, respectively.
It is equipped with 9B. These drum cores 5 to 9 respectively connect the winding shafts 5C to 9C to the core case 1.
inserted perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the Said 2
Drum cores 5 to 9 each having windings 5A to 9A in different colors are prepared by first inserting the drum core 5 into the hollow inside of the core holder 1 through the insertion opening 4, and then inserting the drum core 6 in the same way as the drum core 5. Insert it into the hollow inside of the core holder 1. Next, another drum core 7 is inserted into the hollow inside of the core holder 1 again in the same manner as described above, and the plurality of drum cores 5, 7, 9 wound with wires of different colors and the drum cores 6, 8 are alternately connected. A plurality of drum cores 5, 7, 9, 6, 8 are sequentially inserted into the hollow inside of the core holder 1 from the locking part 3 along the locking part 2, and the flange parts 5B, 6B, ... are inserted and arranged in sequence from the insertion opening 4 with their outer circumferences closely spaced. Furthermore, by thermally crushing a part of the periphery of the insertion opening 4 of the core holder 1 with a suitable jig, a part of the insertion opening 4 is inserted into the endmost drum core 9. The plurality of drum cores 9 are melted and attached to the upper and lower flanges, and the plurality of drum cores 9 are arranged and held in the core holder with the upper and lower flanges of each drum core 9 in close contact with each other. As shown in FIG.
F 1 is connected to the winding start S 2 of the green winding 6A of the drum core 6, and the winding end F 2 of the green winding 6A of this drum core 6 is connected to the winding start S 3 of the red winding 7A of the other drum core 7. The windings of adjacent drum cores are successively connected in cascade. Then, each of the cascaded lead wire connection points is connected to a capacitor. In this way, the electronic component according to the present invention is constructed.

According to the electronic component having the above configuration, each of the drum cores 5, 7, 9, 6, 8 housed in the core case 1
, both end surfaces and outer circumferential surfaces of the flanges 5B to 9B are held by the inner wall of the U-shaped cross section and the inner wall of the mooring portion 2, and the outer circumferential surface of the flanges of each drum core 5 to 9 is connected to the mooring portion. 3 and the insertion port 4 are held in close contact with each other between the heat welded portions. As a result, variations in the coupling coefficient between the windings wound around the drum core can be reduced. Further, the core case 1 can be easily attached to the substrate by fixing the outer surface of the core case 1 with adhesive, for example. Furthermore, since the winding colors of adjacent drum cores held in the core case 1 are different, there is no possibility of incorrect wiring occurring when the winding ends are cascaded as described above. It should be noted that the reason for making the winding colors different between adjacent drum cores is to facilitate wiring processing of the winding terminals after being stored in the core case 1. Bye. In addition, the drum cores 5 to 9 inserted and held in the core case 1 have each winding 5 as shown in FIG. 2a.
Since the drum cores A to 9A are placed close to each other, the mutual inductance M between the drum cores 5 to 9 is high and the drum cores 5 to 9 can be closely coupled as shown in FIG. That is, the rate at which the magnetic flux from each of the drum cores 5 to 9 interlinks with other adjacent drum cores is increased, and a coupled state with less magnetic flux leakage can be obtained.

Note that the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiments, and various modifications can be made within the scope of the gist of the present invention. In the embodiment described above, the colors of the windings 5A to 9A of each drum core 5 to 9 held in the core case 1 were configured to be different between adjacent drum cores, but the windings of the same color were applied. Even if the drum cores are inserted and held, variations in the coupling coefficient between the drum cores can be reduced, mounting on the board is reliable and easy, and the coupling state between the drum cores can be maintained tightly. can play.
