した様に係止ビンを用いて緯入を制御するような場合に

張力は緯糸自体の強度を越えることが多く、このため緯
糸切や緯糸の跳返りによる緯糸緩みが頻繁に起き、生産
管理上満足できるようなレベルの稼動率と織物品質を得
ることが困難であり、高速化、広巾化にも大きな障害と
なっていた。

あるので、緯糸に毛羽が立つようなこともなく、従って
織機の稼動率と織物品質を大幅に向上させることができ
、より高速、広巾での可動が可能になる。また適宜圧の
空気を、適宜タイミングで緯糸に吹付けているため構造
が簡単であり、それらの設定も容易である。
