Abstract

され、前記現像ロール1上に形成される現像剤層の層厚
を規制するための現像剤層規制手段(以下、トリマーと
呼ぶ)を夫々示している。

れると共に、現像容器乙の中央寄シの部分より下方位置
に落下される。下方位置に落下された現像剤9は第2オ
ーガ5により今度は紙面の裏面側よシ手前側に搬送(第
1図)される。この第1オーガ4および第2オーガ5に
よって現像剤9は現像ロール1の軸に対して平行な平面
内で上下に循環されながら前記マグロール3の磁力およ
びスリーブ2の回転により現像ロール1に吸着されて容
器6上方へ搬送される。上方へ搬送された現像剤9は前
記規制板8およびトリマー10によって現像ロールへの
供給量を規制された後、所定厚の現像剤層を現像ロール
1に形成する。一方、現像剤層の形成に寄与しなかった
現像剤9は下方位置に落下され第2オーガ5によシ、現
像ロール1の軸に直交する平面に沿って再循環される。
