Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the titled steel plate to which a stable and intensifying welding is subjected with bettering the lapping accuracy and widening the current values range of holding the required intensity without generating expulsion and surface flash by performing a spot welding with forming the lap welding part of a corrugated embossed steel plate on the plane face in advance. CONSTITUTION:The lap welding part 2 of corrugated embossed steel plates 4, 5 is made in advance a plane face with a press and subjected to a lap spot welding. The steel plates 4, 5 are not slid by the press due to the overlapping condition of the waveforms and the lapping accuracy thereof is bettered. The range o the current value for spot welding which keeps the required welding intensity without generating expulsion and surface flash widened as well to weld better even in case of the change in the current.

However, during spot welding, the positions shift as shown in FIG. 4(a)→(b), resulting in a disadvantage that the accuracy of the parts deteriorates. In addition, the conventional method has the drawback that the range of appropriate conditions is narrow and the strength tends to decrease due to variations in current value.

Next, the operation of the above embodiment will be explained. When embossed steel plates and embossed steel plates are overlapped and spot welded as shown in Figure 4, the cross section of the spot welded part is as shown in Figure 4(a).
If the crests of the waves on member A 4 and member B 5 are slightly misaligned as shown in ic, when pressed and pressurized with the electrode of a spot welder, as shown in Figure 4 (b) The A member 4 and the B member 5 are shifted relative to each other, and the peaks overlap, resulting in poor precision of the members. In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 5, a flat portion is created during pressing and pressurized to prevent relative displacement. In Figures 1 to 5, 1 is a flat part, 2 is a spot weld, 3 is an electrode, 4 is a member A, 5 is a member B, and 6
is the penetration part of spot welding.

In the conventional example, the condition range (appropriate condition range) that satisfies the minimum required strength without generating dust was narrow, and had the disadvantage that the strength was likely to decrease due to variations in welding current.According to the present example, the appropriate condition range was narrow. It is widely used and has the advantage of stable welding strength.

When spot welding embossed steel plates and embossed steel plates,
Since a flat part is created in the part to be spot welded, the parts do not shift and welding accuracy is improved. Also, even if the welding current changes, there is a wide range of conditions that meet the minimum required strength, which has the advantage of stable welding strength. .
