[Detailed description of the invention] The present invention provides an arrangement between the inner surface of the rectangular case and the outer peripheral end surface of the glass, and the outer peripheral surface having the same shape as the inner surface of the case and the upper surface of the inner step of the case. The present invention relates to a structure of a glass part of a portable watch that waterproofly seals a case and a glass by using a waterproof ring having elasticity and having lower surfaces in contact with each other. Hereinafter, the conventional structure and the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a sectional view of the structure of the glass portion of a conventional portable watch. After the elastic waterproof ring 2 is assembled into the body 1, the glass 3 is pushed in. The gap between the body and the glass is smaller than the width of the waterproof ring, and the glass is pressed in by crushing the waterproof ring in the width direction, and this crushing prevents moisture from entering from the outside. The conventional structure described above had the following drawbacks. In other words, the waterproof ring has elasticity, and when the waterproof ring is rectangular, it is more likely to bend in the center of each side than when the elastic waterproof ring is flat or circular. However, the stability of the glass is poor when it is set in the body, and the glass cannot be pushed in properly. Ideally, the waterproof packing is required to be set tightly against the body and not bend toward the inner circumference of the body. However, because the material is elastic, it is very difficult to make the dimensions of the item as desired, so even if the glass is pushed in, it may not be crushed properly between the glass and the case, which may damage the waterproofness of the watch. It was a lot. In addition, in the current situation where portable watches are required to be thinner and smaller, the thickness and height of waterproof rings are becoming thinner and thinner, and the rigidity of waterproof rings is becoming weaker and thinner. Therefore, assembling the waterproof ring on the body using the conventional method requires a very large number of man-hours.
The present invention eliminates such drawbacks. Second
The present invention will be explained using FIGS. Figure 2 is a sectional view of the structure of the glass part according to the present invention.
FIG. 3 is a plan view of the same, and FIG. 4 is a perspective view of the waterproof ring according to the present invention. As for the construction of each part, first, a waterproof ring 2 having an outer surface having the same shape as the inner surface of the shell 1 is set on a shell 1 whose inner surface is formed into a rectangular shape.
In this case, cylindrical projections 2a and 2b are provided approximately at the center of each side of the outer and lower surfaces of the waterproof ring 2, and the waterproof ring 2 is provided on the inner surface of the body 1 and the upper surface of the inner step of the body. Cylindrical holes 1a and 1b are provided at positions corresponding to the provided projections 2a and 2b, respectively.
, and the tip of the protrusion 2a provided on the outer surface of the waterproof ring 2 is formed shorter than the bottom surface of the hole 1a provided on the inner surface of the body 1. In the above configuration, deformation of the waterproof ring 2 in the inner circumferential direction of the body 1 can be prevented by the engagement of each protrusion 2b with the hole 1b of the body 1, and upward protrusion can be prevented by the engagement between the protrusion 2a and the hole 1a. It has become possible to prevent this by

Further, the projections 2a and 2b of the waterproof ring 2 are formed in a simple cylindrical shape, and the holes 1a and 1b in the body 1 are also formed in a cylindrical shape, so that engagement is easy and the waterproof ring 2 is formed In, protrusion 2
It becomes easy to provide a and 2b. Furthermore, since the tip of the protrusion 2a of the waterproof ring 2 is formed shorter than the bottom of the hole 1a of the body 1, when the glass 3 is pushed in, there is no buffering between the tip of the protrusion 2a and the bottom of the hole 1a. , which can be pushed into the waterproof ring 2 without causing extreme deformation. After setting the waterproof ring 2 on the body 1,
By pushing the glass 3 in exactly the same way as the conventional method, the waterproof seal structure of the glass part is completed.

As described above, according to the present invention, cylindrical projections are provided on the outer surface of the square-shaped waterproof ring and approximately at the center of each side of the outer surface, and the inner surface of the body and the inner step of the body are A resilient waterproof ring is obtained by providing cylindrical holes on the top surface at positions corresponding to each of the cylindrical projections provided on the ring, and engaging the cylindrical projections provided on the waterproof ring with the holes. Even if it is, the protrusion is held by the hole, so the bending deformation of the waterproof ring in the inner circumferential direction of the body can be prevented by the protrusion on the lower surface of the waterproof ring and the upper surface hole of the inner step of the body, and the upward movement Since the protrusion on the outer surface of the waterproof ring and the hole on the inner surface of the body prevent the glass from popping out, the glass can be stably pushed into the body, resulting in improved waterproofness.

In addition, since the protrusion of the waterproof ring and the hole in the body are formed in a cylindrical shape, when the waterproof ring is set on the inner surface of the body, the simple cylindrical shape makes it easy to engage the protrusion and the hole. In addition, in molding the waterproof ring, processing of the mold and molding process are facilitated, and the manufacturing cost can be reduced.

Furthermore, the tip of the cylindrical projection provided on the bottom surface of the waterproof ring is shorter than the bottom surface of the cylindrical hole provided on the inner surface of the body.
When the glass is pushed in, there is no buffer between the tip of the protrusion and the bottom of the hole, so it can be pushed in without causing extreme deformation to the waterproof ring, which has the effect of improving waterproofness.
