The hot air heater configured as above operates the combustion blower 19 and the electromagnetic pump 16.
The compressor is operated to supply combustor air and fuel to the combustor 9 for combustion and to heat the heat exchanger 10. The blower 5 is operated to supply indoor air through the filter 22 to the heated heat exchanger 10 for heat exchange, and the air is blown along the water surface of the humidifying tray 14, humidified, and blown out from the outlet 3 for heating. At this time, since the plate width direction of the mounting member 11 is set to be the same as the blowing direction of the blower 5, there is no resistance to the blowing, and the air is blown out from the outlet 3 with a uniform distribution, providing a comfortable heating effect. Furthermore, the temperature detector 13 is normally heated by thermal conduction from the mounting member 11 during heating, but is cooled by the indoor air sucked in by the blower 5, so that it is kept at a low temperature. On the other hand, if there is some abnormality, for example, if the air volume decreases due to clogging of the filter 22 and the heat exchanger 10 etc. becomes abnormally overheated, the heat conduction from the heat exchanger 10 increases and the cooling effect of the indoor air drawn in also decreases, causing the temperature detector 13 to become too hot and activate, stopping combustion via the control circuit section 21.

In the above embodiment, the mounting member 11 is formed in a U-shape, but as shown in FIG. A similar effect can be expected even if it is attached to the container 10.

As explained above, this invention has a temperature detector mounted on the heat exchanger at a predetermined distance via a mounting member with good thermal conductivity, so that the cooling effect of air blowing is high, and the temperature can be detected during normal combustion. The container is kept at a low temperature and requires low heat resistance. In addition, since the temperature sensor is sensitive to the temperature of the heat exchanger through thermal conduction, there are fewer disturbances, and in the event of an abnormality, the cooling effect of air blowing, etc. is reduced, so the temperature sensor operates reliably, resulting in highly reliable hot air heating. There is an effect that can be obtained by machine.
