(Prior Art) As one of the methods of making combustible substances flame retardant, there has been known a method of covering or coating a combustible substance with a non-flammable or flame-retardant substance to make it non-flammable or flame-retardant. The non-combustible or flame-retardant materials used in this case include steel plates,
Examples include metals such as aluminum, inorganic substances such as asbestos, calcium silicate, and gypsum, and flame-retardant resins. However, it is difficult to coat relatively thin films or sheets made of paper, cloth, flammable resin, etc. with metal or inorganic materials, and because the surface is hidden, they are generally difficult to coat with these flammable materials. Flammable resin is used. However, the development of a film-forming resin that easily and effectively imparts flame retardance and is substantially transparent has not yet been achieved.

(Objective of the Invention) In view of the above, the present inventors have conducted intensive research and found that a liquid composition containing vinylidene chloride resin, phosphoric acid ester, and brominated epoxy resin as main components has a resinous property after evaporation of the solvent. The present invention was achieved by forming a film, and finding that the resin film exhibits good flame retardancy due to the synergistic effect with halogen and phosphorus, and also has excellent adhesiveness and transparency.

(Structure of the Invention) The flame-retardant film-forming liquid composition according to the present invention has a phosphorus content of 15 to 100 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of vinylidene chloride resin, and a bromine-containing brominated epoxy resin. It is characterized by being formed by dissolving a solid composition containing 15 to 100 parts by weight in a solvent.

Phosphate esters used in the present invention include, for example, diethyl phosphate, dimethyl phosphate, triethyl phosphate, trimethyl phosphate, tributyl phosphate, triphenyl phosphate, trioctyl phosphate, tris(chloroethyl) phosphate,
Examples include, but are not limited to, tris(dichloropropyl) phosphate and the like. The content of the phosphoric acid ester is blended so that the phosphorus content is 15 to 100 parts by weight, preferably 30 to 60 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the vinylidene chloride resin. When the phosphorus content is less than the above 15 parts by weight, a sufficient flame retardant effect is obtained, while when it exceeds 100 parts by weight, undesirable physical properties such as burning of the coating tend to occur.

In addition to chloride, vinylidene resin, and the above-mentioned phosphoric acid ester, the flame-retardant film-forming liquid composition of the present invention further contains:
A brominated epoxy resin is blended, and the synergistic effect based on chlorine, phosphorus and bromine provides good flame retardancy. The brominated epoxy resin used is not particularly limited,
For example, an epoxy resin prepared by blending and polymerizing brominated bisphenol A and containing 18 to 20% bromine is used. Brominated epoxy resin contains bromine as
15 to 10 parts by weight of vinylidene chloride resin
It is blended in an amount of 0 parts by weight, preferably 30 to 60 parts by weight. If the bromine content is less than 15 parts by weight, sufficient flame retardancy due to the synergistic effect with chlorine and phosphorus cannot be obtained,
Moreover, if the amount is more than 100 parts by weight, the performance of the formed film tends to deteriorate.

The flammable substances shown in Table 1 are immersed in this liquid composition and a diluted solution of the liquid composition diluted at the dilution ratio shown in Table 1, dried, and then ignited with a lighter until ignition occurs. Flame retardancy was determined based on the number of ignitions and self-extinguishing ability when ignited. The results are shown in Table 1.
