Conventionally, when hollow roofing materials are used for terraces, entrance eaves, or carports of houses, as shown in Figure 1a, the roof 1 is sloped and eaves gutters 2 are attached to the eaves to allow the roof to flow over the roof 1. Install rainwater and collect water 3
The water is collected and drained through the downspout 4. Also,
Recently, an increasing number of parapets are equipped with a parapet integrally formed with a gutter 2 as shown in FIG. 1b, and rainwater is drained through a chain gutter 5.

However, as shown in Figure 1a, if nothing is attached to the end of the roofing material 1 and construction is carried out with the hollow part 1a of the roofing material 1 left open, rainwater and dust will be blown up by the wind and the hollow part 1a will be blown up. As a result, dirt and dust accumulate in the hollow portion 1a, causing dirt. On the other hand, even if the end cap 6 is attached to close the hollow part 1a as shown in FIG. 1b, the conventional end cap 6 has a mounting structure as shown in FIG. The one shown in Fig. 2 a is installed by applying adhesive to the inside of the cap 6 and covering it with the hollow roofing material 1 as shown in Fig. 2 c, and the cap 6 shown in Fig. 2 b. As shown in Fig. 2d, the cap is attached by fitting the circular convex portion 7 protruding from the inner surface of the cap into the hollow part 1a of the hollow roofing material 1, and in both cases, the cap is tightly attached to the roofing material. Because of the mounting structure, rainwater enters the hollow part of the roofing material from the joint between the cap and the roofing material due to capillary phenomenon and collects there, causing dust to adhere there and cause stains. There are some drawbacks. Another disadvantage is that the accumulated water is heated by the sun's heat and evaporates, causing dew condensation and further spreading dirt throughout the roof.

The present invention was devised to eliminate all of the above-mentioned drawbacks, and it is possible to prevent rainwater and dust from entering the hollow part of the hollow roofing material, thereby preserving the beauty of the roofing material, as well as solving the problems that were previously necessary. The purpose of this project is to provide an end cap for hollow roofing materials that can eliminate the troublesome work of installing eaves gutters. A plurality of ribs are provided,
A convex part that fits into the hollow part of the hollow roofing material and a bottom plate are provided, and the overall shape is compatible with the hollow roofing material, and a rainwater inflow part is provided between the convex part and the top plate. the rib is shorter than the convex portion and spaced apart from the bottom plate;
The rear end of the bottom plate is raised to form a gutter,
The present invention also provides an end cap for a hollow roofing material, the bottom plate of which is provided with a drainage hole.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described based on the drawings. FIG. 3 shows the end cap A of the present invention attached to the end of an arch-shaped hollow roofing material 8.
The hollow roof material 8 shown in the drawing is an example of a molded product made of synthetic resin, and is large enough to construct a terrace or carport with one piece. It is pre-shaped into an arch shape to match the shape. This end cap A is also made of a synthetic resin material, and as shown in FIGS. 4 a, b, c and 5 a, b, there is a top on the back side 10 of the front plate 9 that protrudes approximately perpendicularly to the front plate. Face plate 13
In addition, a plurality of ribs 11 arranged at intervals in the longitudinal direction, convex portions 12 that fit into the hollow portion 8a of the hollow roofing material 8, and a bottom plate 15 are provided, and the convex portions 12 and the ends are provided. A rainwater inflow part 14 is provided between the top plate 13 of the cap A, and a rising part 151 is provided at the rear end of the bottom plate 15 below the convex part 12. A gutter portion 16 having a groove-shaped cross section consisting of 151 is formed, and the trough portion 1
Drain holes 18, 18 for draining rainwater are provided in the bottom plate 15 at 7, 17. Said rib 11
... is the end cap A as shown in Figure 5a.
between the back side 10 of the front panel 9 and the end of the hollow roofing material 8, in order to cause rainwater that has flowed over the hollow roofing material 8 and flowing into the rainwater inflow section 14 of the end cap A to flow down into the gutter section 16. The ribs 11 are provided to form a gap 19 of the end cap A, and the protruding dimension thereof is shorter than the convex portion 12. A slight gap is provided between the lower edge of the rib 11 and the lower surface plate 15 so that rainwater can flow smoothly through the gutter portion 16. Further, as shown in FIG. 5a, the convex portions 12 have their tip portions formed at acute angles so that they can be easily fitted into the hollow portion 8a of the hollow roofing material 8. In addition, the convex portion 12
A space 12a is provided inside so that the protrusion 12 itself has elasticity. Thereby, the end cap A is firmly attached to the hollow roofing material 8 by forcing the convex portions 12 to fit into the hollow portion 8a. Of course, the shape and number of ribs 11 and convex portions 12 are not limited to those shown in the drawings.

Next, the drainage holes 18, 18 are connected to the valley 1 of the end cap A, as shown in FIGS. 4c and 5b.
7 and 17 near the front plate 9 side of the lower plate 15. This makes it easier for rainwater that has flowed down the gutter 16 into the valleys 17, 17 to be drained from the drainage holes 18, 18. A downspout 21 as shown in FIG. 6a or a chain gutter 22 as shown in FIG. 6b is attached to the drainage holes 18, 18 to drain rainwater from the drainage holes 18, 18 of the end cap A. let it fall. Of course, the shape and size of these drainage holes 18, 18 are not limited to those shown in the drawings. Further, the drainage holes 18, 18 are not limited to the troughs 18, 18, but may be provided in other parts of the bottom plate 15.
In addition, in FIGS. 4a and 4b, 23 is a notch provided at the top of both ends of the end cap A, and the hollow roofing material 8
It was designed to make it fit better.

The above explanation uses an arch-shaped end cap as an example, but of course the shape is not limited to that shown in the drawings, and can vary depending on the shape of the hollow roofing material.
For example, it may be linear as shown in FIGS. 7a and 7b, or it may be wavy (not shown).

The rainwater inflow section, gutter section, and drainage hole are provided, so rainwater can be drained smoothly, so rainwater does not enter and accumulate in the hollow section of the hollow roofing material, unlike conventional methods. It is possible to prevent dust from adhering to the hollow part of the hollow roofing material, allowing the roofing material to remain beautiful forever. In addition, unlike conventional roof roofs, water that collects in the hollow space evaporates due to solar heat, condenses, and dust adheres to the condensation, which spreads dirt over the entire roof.

(c) A rib is provided on the back side of the end cap front plate,
Since a gap is formed between the end of the hollow roofing material and the back side of the front plate of the end cap, rainwater flowing in from the rainwater inlet can smoothly flow down the gutter. ,
This gap also serves as a ventilation hole, allowing for good drainage inside the end cap. Additionally, the ribs increase the strength of the end cap itself.

Since the end cap is provided with a protrusion that fits into the hollow portion of the hollow roof material, the end cap can be attached to the hollow roof material by the simple operation of simply fitting this protrusion into the hollow portion of the hollow roof material.

By attaching the end cap to the hollow roofing material before construction, there is no need to worry about the end of the roofing material cracking even if it is dropped during construction. Furthermore, even after construction, damage to the edges of the roofing material due to flying or falling foreign objects can be prevented.
