ドラム周面上に予め設定されたタイミングで突出
沈下させることによつて緯糸を貯留ドラム上に係
留し且つ解舒することのできる形式や、貯留ドラ
ムに外設された緯糸係止ピンをドラム周面に対向
し所定のタイミングにドラム表面に接触・離間さ
せることによつて緯糸を係留・解舒させる形式等
の緯糸貯留装置にあつては、次の様な欠点があ
る。即ち、この種の形式の緯糸貯留装置は一対の
緯糸係止ピンを用いて一越分ずつ緯糸係止ピンと
緯糸係止ピンとの間に分割して貯留ドラム上に巻
付貯留する形式の緯糸貯留装置と異なり、特に緯
入が完了する付近での貯留ドラムの緯糸巻数には
非常に少いものである。

運転準備スイツチが入れられた状態でメインノズ
ルMNの及びサブノズル噴射が始まつても貯留ド
ラム上の緯糸はメインノズルMN及びサブノズル
の牽引力によつて引き出されることはない。そし
て、織機運転開始ボタンを押すと織機は回転し始
めるが、次の緯入れタイミング迄例えばクランク
角0度付近でソレノイド67の励磁を解き、引バ
ネ68の力によつてアーム63を時計方向に回動
させ、緯糸押え部材61の貯留ドラム上の緯糸の
押圧保持を解くとともに、アーム63を続いて起
る緯入れに伴うバルーンの妨げにならない位置に
とどめてやる。もつともこの緯糸押え部材61の
貯留ドラム61上からの離間タイミングは上記し
たクランク角が0度のときでなくてもよく、回転
ヤーンガイドYGの回転が進み、緯糸係止ピン3
の介在及び緯糸の貯留ドラム1との摩擦抵抗でメ
インノズル及びサブノズルの牽引力によつては緯
糸が次々に引出されないようなタイミングのとき
であればいつでもよいことはいうまでもない。

きるので織物品質上好ましいものである。
