DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention aims to prevent breakage accidents that occur when fitting into a ring due to a decrease in moisture content due to drying during storage of a synthetic resin traveler for a spinning machine, and to obtain the economic effects associated with this. The present invention relates to a method for adjusting the moisture content of a nylon traveler for a spinning machine to keep the moisture content of the traveler constant.

However, when such conventional packaging is stored by a user after being shipped, the moisture content changes due to moisture absorption or dehumidification depending on the storage method and relative temperature of the location, and the moisture content may be extremely high during use. Frequent breakage accidents occur due to the hardening of the nylon traveler, which is thought to be caused by a decrease in water content, or, conversely, abnormal wear and tear at the start of use due to the softening of the nylon traveler, which is thought to be caused by an extreme increase in moisture content. The problem of the traveler coming off, etc., was addressed.

The present invention solves the above-mentioned problems, and by always adjusting and storing the nylon traveler at a moisture content of about 2 to 4% when using it, it prevents accidents such as breakage, traveler coming off, abnormal wear, etc. The present invention provides a method for adjusting the moisture content of a nylon traveler for a spinning machine, which eliminates the occurrence of accidents.

Example Nylon travelers, which contain almost no water and are molded into a predetermined shape using nylon resin and then formed through a series of steps, are made into polyethylene, polypropylene, vinyl chloride, vinylidene chloride, polystyrene, etc. in units of, for example, 100 pieces. It is packed in a bag made of polymer film, the above film coated with another coating agent, or a moisture-proof film made by laminating metal foil and the above film, etc., and at the same time, the moisture content of the nylon traveler is 3% when opened and used. In order to maintain a favorable condition before and after storage and to keep the moisture content unchanged during storage, we use water-absorbing sheets, such as cotton, rayon, PVA fibers alone or a mixture of these fibers and synthetic fibers, and a hydrophilic binder. A water-absorbing sheet piece made of manufactured non-woven fabric, PVA sponge sheet, or PVA or rayon cloth with instructions regarding storage and handling printed on its surface was exposed to a larger amount of water than calculated through experiments. (Water absorption amount is changed appropriately depending on the weight of the nylon traveler used), sealed together in the above bag, and let the nylon traveler absorb water.
A nylon traveler for a spinning machine with a moisture content adjusted to around % was constructed.

According to the configuration of the present invention, breakage accidents of the nylon traveler occur as shown in one example of the drawings, in the relationship between the peeling strength and the moisture content, the lower the moisture content is, that is, the higher the peeling strength is, the easier it is to break. In addition, the higher the moisture content, the less likely it will break, but it will become softer and cause the traveler to come off or become abnormally worn during use, so the above-mentioned drawbacks can be overcome by maintaining the moisture content within the approximate shaded range shown in the drawing. It has been found that this effect can be obtained.

In other words, by constantly maintaining the moisture content within the above range, accidents such as breakage and disconnection during use of the traveler can be largely eliminated, and accidents such as stopping of the spinning machine and yarn breakage due to the above-mentioned accidents can be avoided. This invention has significant effects such as contributing to resource saving and labor saving, such as the elimination of waste.
