Claims

A dart pot made of a non-magnetic material and having a straight tube shape with one end closed; a lid made of a magnetic material that closes the opening of the dart pot; a plunger; a control spring disposed in the dart pot so as to constantly bias the plunger in a direction away from the lid; a braking fluid filled in the dart pot; an electromagnetic coil which is excited by a load current; a yoke which is provided to support the doss pot and forms a magnetic circuit passing through the lid and the plunger; and a movable iron piece supported so as to be rotatable between the two positions, and the opening/closing mechanism is pulled in response to the movement of the movable iron piece to the welding position with the lid. What is claimed is: 1. A circuit breaker for causing a load energization path to be disconnected by a disconnection operation, characterized in that a braking fluid passage extending in an axial direction is formed in the plunger of the tripping device.
