BACKGROUND ART In a lighting device for a vehicle, for example, an automobile, the aperture surface of the reflecting mirror may be inclined with respect to the irradiation direction XX in order to match the outer shape of the vehicle body. When molding such a reflecting mirror a, it is necessary to pull out the mold in a direction P that is substantially perpendicular to the inclined opening surface, and the reflecting surface b, which is a paraboloid of revolution, is formed so that the reflecting mirror a is in front of the mold. It is deep at the part c that protrudes toward the rear, and shallower at the part d on the opposite side, that is, the part that retracts rearward (see Figures 1 and 2). On the shallower side (right side in the drawing), the opening edge e has an extreme radius, and compared to the deeper side, the shaded area in Figure 2 becomes a part that does not reflect light. Therefore, when a lamp using such a reflecting mirror a is turned on, there is a problem that the lens surface corresponding to the shaded area becomes dark.

In view of the above-mentioned problems, the present invention aims to provide a new reflecting mirror that prevents dark areas from forming on the lens covering the front surface of the mirror, and the aperture surface is inclined with respect to the irradiation direction. It is a reflecting mirror, and includes a reflecting part that is approximately in the shape of a paraboloid of revolution,
It is characterized in that a portion of the reflecting portion including at least one end in the horizontal direction is divided into a number of horizontally extending strip-shaped portions, and each of the strip-shaped portions is formed into a parabolic reflecting surface.

The reflecting mirror 1 has an inner surface 2 that is approximately a paraboloid of revolution, and an opening 3 that has a horizontally long rectangular shape when viewed from the front. Therefore, the inner surface 2 in the shape of a paraboloid of revolution is cut off at the top and bottom, and these sections form substantially horizontal surfaces 4, 4. Moreover, the opening surface 5 of this reflecting mirror 1 is inclined with respect to the irradiation axis XX. Therefore, when molding such a reflecting mirror 1, the direction in which the mold is removed is the direction P perpendicular to the opening surface 5.

In addition, this reflecting mirror 1 has a large number of strip-shaped parts 7a and 7b extending horizontally in the shallower half of the inner surface 2, which is approximately paraboloid of revolution, that is, the right half in the drawing. ,7c,7d,7
e and 7f, and these strip-shaped parts 7a to 7f are arranged in the vertical direction. Each of these band-shaped portions 7a to 7f is shaped to form a part of a paraboloid of revolution, and the paraboloid of revolution of each band-shaped portion 7a to 7f preferably has a common focal point and It is preferable that the focal point be the same as that of the portion of the inner surface 2 that is not divided by the strip portion 7. That is,
By setting the positions of these focal points to be the same or substantially the same, the light reflected by the reflecting mirror 1 can be made into a parallel beam of light. Note that, as a matter of course, each surface 2, 7a to 7f is a reflective surface. The method for making each of these surfaces a reflective surface is not particularly limited, and various methods such as vapor deposition of a reflective material such as aluminum or reflective coating can be used.

As is clear from the above description, in the reflecting mirror of the present invention, a portion including at least one end in the horizontal direction of the reflecting portion, which is approximately a paraboloid of revolution, is divided into a number of horizontally extending strip-shaped portions,
Since the band-shaped portion is a parabolic reflecting surface, the aperture of the reflecting mirror is inclined with respect to the irradiation axis, and the mold is pulled out in a direction perpendicular to the inclined aperture. Even when the side edge becomes shallower due to the inclination, it is possible to make the side edge into a straight line, a shape close to a straight line, or any other arbitrary shape, and the reflective surface as a whole becomes a paraboloid of revolution. without losing its character, and without any deterioration in its function as a reflector for lighting equipment. This has the advantage that dark areas can be prevented from forming on the lens covering the front surface of the reflecting mirror.
