A conventional method for fixing a service panel of an air conditioner is constructed as shown in FIGS. 1 to 3. That is, in the figure, 1 is a frame, 2 is a casing,
Reference numeral 3 designates a service panel, which constitutes a ventilation path, in which a heat exchanger 4 that exchanges heat with air using a heat medium, a blower 5 that sends air to this heat exchanger 4, and A drain pan 6 that receives condensed water from the heat exchanger 4 is housed therein. 7 is an air inlet at the bottom, 8 is an air outlet provided in the casing 2, 9 is a piping space for connecting a heat medium pipe to the heat exchanger 4, and 10 is a decoration that covers the lower part of the piping space 9. The stand, 11, is a side casing held by the dressing table and the casing. The service panel 3 includes a heat insulating material 3a to prevent condensed water from adhering to the surface due to cold air in the ventilation path during cooling operation, and a heat insulating material 3a to prevent cold air from leaking from the gap between the casing 2 and the service panel 3. A sealing material 3b is pasted.

In this structure, the service panel 3 is fixed by inserting the cutout hole 3c provided at the lower end of the service panel 3 into the protrusion 10a provided on the dressing table 10 to support the lower end. It is fixed to the frame 1 by decorative screws 12 at both ends.

At this time, if the gap between the frames 1 becomes large, the contact area between the heat insulating material 3a and the sealing material 3b attached to the service panel 3 becomes large, and therefore a very large force is required to compress the heat insulating material 3a and the sealing material 3b. Therefore, the fixing parts at both ends are compressed to the regular dimensions by the cosmetic screws 12, but the compression is weak in the center part, so the service panel 3 is warped and looks very unsightly, and furthermore, cold air leaks occur in the center part. However, there is a drawback that dew condensation occurs on the surfaces of the casing 1 and the service panel 3, and dew drips.

This invention was made to eliminate such drawbacks, and by eliminating the sealing material and using a clamping member to clamp the upper part of the service panel, it aims to provide an air conditioner that is free from cold air leakage and deflection. It is.

An embodiment of this invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 4 to 7. That is, in the figure, 3 is a service panel, and the periphery is bent twice to form an L-shape (the upper end becomes an inverted L-shape). Note that a cutout hole 3c is provided at the lower end in the same manner as described above. On the other hand, 13 is a clamping member attached to the casing 2 side, and the casing 2 and the service panel 3
As shown in Fig. 5, the casing 2 and the service panel 3 are formed in an approximately inverted R shape to provide a spring effect so that the casing 2 and the service panel 3 are in close contact with each other without any gaps, and the cold air from the ventilation passage does not reach the contact surface between the casing 2 and the service panel 3. In order to have the above-mentioned effect over the whole area of the ventilation passage, the ventilation passage is provided over the entire length of the frame 1 as shown in FIG.
Note that the other configurations are the same as those of the above-mentioned conventional device, so explanations will be omitted.

Next, the assembly operation will be explained. First, insert the notch hole 3c provided at the lower end of the service panel 3 into the vanity 1.
0 to support the lower part of the service panel 3, then lift the service panel 3 a little and drop the upper inverted L-shaped short side 3d between the clamping member 13 and the casing 2,
When the tip of the inverted R-shaped clamping member 13 is elastically pressed against the heat insulating material 3a, the clamping and fixing part extends over the entire length between the frames, so it is held without bending, and the cold air in the ventilation path is removed from the clamping member 13 and the service panel. 3 and the casing 2 and are doubly blocked, thereby eliminating cold air leakage.

As described above, in this invention, the upper end of the service panel is held by a substantially inverted R-shaped holding member provided over the entire length between the frames of the casing, and the tip of the holding member is attached to the heat insulating material on the back side of the decorative panel. Since the service panel is elastically pressed, there is no bending of the service panel and no leakage of cold air, and excellent practical effects can be obtained.
