目を有する缶体に関するものであり詳しくは、は
んだ付けラツプ継目部分の構成を改良することに
より缶胴形成後のラツプ継目部分における錫はん
だ及び補正塗料の保護被覆を良好とし缶体とした
ときにラツプ継目部分における缶材の腐蝕や缶内
容物への悪影響を改良した缶体に関する。

或は略台形状の継目ラツプ部5,5を形成し、こ
れに対応して、ブランク1の他側縁の上下端部に
ラツプ継目3の外面側となる継目ラツプ部6,6
を形成すると共に各継目ラツプ部5,5、6,6
間にはロツク継目4を形成するための折り曲げ縁
7,7が形成されている。かかるブランク1を用
いて缶胴2を形成する従来法は、ブランク1の折
り曲げ縁7,7を互に折り曲げてフツク継目4を
形成し、継目ラツプ部5,6を互にラツプ(重
合)しその後、缶胴2のラツプ継目3とフツク継
目4をはんだ槽に入れてはんだ付けを行うもので
あるが、かかる従来缶においては継目ラツプ部
5,5の略長方形或は略台形状の角隅部及びその
周辺部分特にその切断端縁部ではんだ8が乗りに
くく同様にこの部分に補正塗料を施しても塗料が
塗着しにくく被覆補正が不完全となる。その原因
は種々の要因が考えられるが、その一因とて、ブ
ランク1を第7図示の如く打ち抜き形成する際或
は缶胴形成の過程でなんらかの外力が加わるとブ
ランク1の継目ラツプ部5,5の屈折部5a,5
bに第8図示の様なバリaが発生しやすく、かか
るバリの突出部ははんだ及び補正塗料で保護被覆
しにくいことがあげられる。

護被覆が充分に行われることを見出し完成したも
のである。本考案の要旨は、缶胴2の側面継目が
はんだ付けされたラツプ継目3とフツク継目4と
から構成される缶体においてブランク1を缶胴2
に形成する際、ラツプ継目3の内面側となる略長
方形或は略台形状継目ラツプ部5形状を、その外
周縁の屈曲部を曲線状に形成し、ラツプ継目3の
外面側となる継目ラツプ部6に重合して、はんだ
8付けして成る。

状となるように缶材を打ち抜き形成した第1図示
のブランク1を用いて第3図示のラツプ継目3及
びフツク継目4をはんだ付けした缶胴2を得た。
この缶胴2のラツプ継目3,3の内面側を観察し
たところ、第4図示のようにはんだ8が継目ラツ
プ部5,5の外周縁の切断端部を充分に保護被覆
しており、その後、補正塗装を施した後にあつて
も、補正塗料が十分に保護被覆して塗着してい
た。また内面側の継目ラツプ部5,5の外周縁の
切断端部には補正困難なバリも発生していなかつ
た。
