グアツセンブリと、前記パワステアリングアツセンブリ
に作動流体を供給する流体ポンプと、前記パワステアリ
ングアツセンブリより返送される作ｉ流体を受入れるリ
ザーバタンクと、前記パワステアリングアツセンブリの
２つの作動室の間に接続され車両の走行状態に痣じて変
化する制御電流により開度を連続的に変化させる弁を有
するソレノイドバルブを備えたパワステアリング装置に
おいて、前記ソレノイドバルブはバルブ本体の内孔内に
軸方向摺動可能に嵌合されて同内孔内を前記弁の弁室と
閉空間とに仕切るプランジャと、該プランジャを一方向
に付勢するスプリングと、該プラシジャと同軸に設けら
れ前記制御電流を印加されて前記スプリングに抗して該
プランジャを変位させるコイルを備えると共に前記プラ
ンジャには前記閉空間を前記弁室に連通ずるオリフイス
を設けて、該オリフイス内を流通する作動流住の抵抗に
より前記スプリングによる該プランジャの移動速度を実
質的に遅らすよう構成したことを特徴とするパワステア
