数個組カツタ43ac〜431eは原木に対する当
りが弱く、しかし各組のカツタは独自に作用す
る。この送り動作により次のロータリハンマユニ
ツト45位置まで送られると、ロータリハンマ4
51a〜451cで原木aは打撃を受け、樹皮に
無数の打傷が生じ、更に次のロータリカツタユニ
ツト43で前述と同じ掻きむしり、撹拌および送
り作用を受け以下順次このような作用で脱皮を強
いられた後回転ドラムバーカ3内に入り、周知の
ように回転缶体31内の無数のノツチでの剥皮作
用により残存していた樹皮が完全に剥され、排木
部2より樹皮を剥離された原木が排出される。尚
前処理装置4で剥離された樹皮は穴44,46よ
