A front cover 4 is pivotally attached to the main body case 1 so as to be freely openable and closable.
The tape cartridge includes a lock member 8 on the main body case 1 side that abuts and engages with a part of the front cover 4 to hold the front cover 4 in a closed position.
The support shaft portion 12 on the proximal end side and the lock member body 8a on the distal end side are integrally connected by a plate spring portion 11, and the lock member 8 has the support shaft portion 12 attached to a bearing portion 16 provided on the main body case 1 side. The lock member body 8a is supported and assembled in a non-rotating manner, and in this assembled state, the lock member main body 8a is pressed and biased to abut and engage with the engaged portion 20 on the front lid 4 side by the spring force applied to the leaf spring portion 11. A tape cartridge featuring:
