軸を支持する一対の軸受と、前記駆動ポンプギヤ
と噛み合う被動ポンプギヤ及びこの被動ポンプギ

をそれぞれ密閉するリヤカバー及びシール部を備
えた前記駆動軸の貫通孔を有するフロントカバー
とからなり、前記各軸受の内方端面及び軸受孔に
導入溝をそれぞれ穿設し、これら各導入孔を介し
て前記ケーシングの吐出しポート側から被送液の
一部を潤滑液として前記各軸受に導入するように
するとともに、前記リヤーカバー及びフロントカ
バーの前記ケーシングと各接合面に、前記各軸受
孔の導入溝と流路的に接続する還流溝をそれぞれ
穿設し、これら各還流溝を介して前記ケーシング
の吸込みポート側へ潤滑後の被送液を還流させる
ようにしたギヤポンプにおいて、前記還流溝を、
前記軸受孔の外方端部に生ずる流出被送液の旋回
流に対してその接線方向に、かつそれらの旋回流
が互いに接近する側を始点としてのハの字形に一
