Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a filter device permitting reduction of maintenance cost without deteriorating stable and high filtration performance by constructing the air purification filter to a multilayered structure. CONSTITUTION:A multilayered filter 10 for air purification is formed by superposing air purification filter 11-13 coated with a coating resin. The multilayered filter 10 is folded to a bellows shape which is attached to an external frame 3 with adhesive 4 and 5 so as not to cause leakage of air. Accordingly, if the air purifying capacity of the filter 11 is reduced by collecting dust to a certain degree, the first filter 11 is detached and the second and the third filter 12, 13 are slid simultaneously to the air inlet side, and a fresh filter is attached to behind the third filter 13. Thus, the maintenance cost of the filter device is held at a low level.

When the air containing dust passes through the air purifying filter l, the dust is collected by the filter l and the air is purified. The filter 1 has a certain thickness, and most of the relatively large dust is collected on the surface of the air purifying filter 1, and the relatively small dust is collected inside.

Once the filter 1 collects a certain amount of dust, its air purifying ability decreases, so it is replaced with a new filter at an appropriate time in order to maintain predetermined filtration characteristics.

However, the amount of dust collected on the surface of the filter 1 is much larger than the amount of dust collected inside the filter 1. Therefore, the dust collection ability of the surface portion of the filter 1 decreases faster than the dust collection ability of the inside of the filter 1. Therefore, in order to maintain predetermined filtration characteristics, the filter must be replaced even though the filter 1 still has sufficient dust collection ability. In a sense, this can be said to be a waste of filter replacement.

The filters 11 to 13 are sufficiently thinner than conventional single-layer air purifying multilayer filters, and even if they are stacked to form the air purifying multilayer filter 10, they can be used as conventional single-layer air purifying filters with the same filtration area. No pressure loss compared to filters. Note that the filtration area can be adjusted by the number of folds of the filter, and the greater the number of folds, the larger the filtration area can be.

In this case, the first filter 11 is removed, the second filter 12 and the third filter 13 are slid toward the air inlet, and a new filter is placed further behind the third filter 13. That is, a new air purifying multilayer filter is constructed in which the filter 12 and the filter 13 are used as a first filter and a second filter, respectively, and the new filter is used as a third filter.

As explained above, according to the air purifying filter device of the present invention, since the filter is multi-layered, when the filtration characteristics deteriorate, the air intake side, which has the highest amount of dust collection and is most fatigued, By removing the filter and placing a new filter at the rearmost position, each filter will be slid in sequence each time the filter is replaced, making the most effective use of the filter. Moreover, if a multilayer filter is used, each filter can be made thinner, and the cost per filter can be reduced, so maintenance costs can be kept low.
