Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the bending of a blank sheet in feeding by installing a plurality of supporting bodies which form contact or noncontact state between the blank sheet and a feeding belt independently and in synchronization with the paper feeding timing. CONSTITUTION:A paper feeding apparatus is constituted of a shutter 2, a pair of side guides 3, and a plurality of belts 4, and a blank sheet S is supplied by the friction between the belt 4 and the sheet S. In this case, a plurality of rollers 23 and 23' as supporting body which control the contact and noncontact state between the sheet S and the belt 4 are installed independently and in synchronization with the paper feeding timing, between the belts 4. When the blank sheet S in a B-type box whose A surface is longer than other surfaces B-D is supplied, the rollers 23 and 23' are lowered when the surfaces B-D pass through the shutter 2, and noncontact state is generated between the surfaces B-D and the belt 4, and then the rollers 23 and 23' are raised to contact the surface A with the belt 4, and the bending of the sheet S is prevented.

The belt-type sheet feeding device described above loads blank sheets cut into a predetermined shape onto a drive unit equipped with a plurality of end shields with a relatively large coefficient of friction that rotate intermittently or continuously. A shutter is provided at the front end of the blank sheet in the traveling direction, and a part of the hopper is formed by a pair of side guides on both sides of the blank sheet. At this time, the gap between the lower end of the shutter and the belt is adjusted so that the blank sheets are reliably fed one by one to the next process.

<Problems to be Solved by the Invention> In the conventional sheet feeding device configured as described above, when manufacturing a paper box called a B-type box, blank sheets are fed straight to the direction of travel. The problem was that it would bend. In the folder gluer, the blank sheet is held by a belt and moves straight while forming the box, so if the blank sheet is fed from the paper feed section in a bent state, it is impossible to obtain a paper box with the specified shape. There is a problem with becoming.

Also, while the B, C, and D sides of the next blank sheet come into contact with the belt and the sheet feeding operation starts, the A side does not come into contact with the belt yet. Therefore, at this time, the B, C, and D sides of the next blank sheet are already advanced in the direction of travel than the A side, and when this plank sheet is fed, it is fed in a bent state from the beginning. The work will be done. In the series of paper feeding operations, the above steps are performed continuously.

As described above, when feeding the stacked blank sheets, the present invention utilizes cams, levers, etc. to bring the blank sheets into contact with the belt in accordance with the feeding timing, so that unnecessary parts do not come into contact with the belt. This is an attempt to control a non-contact state.

<Function> A plurality of supports 23, 23' (hereinafter described as rollers 23, 23') are provided as shown in FIGS. , 23' are all raised, so that the blank sheet and the belt are in a non-contact state. In FIG. 1(B), all of the rollers 23° and 23' are lowered, and the blank sheet and the belt are in contact with each other, so that the sheet is being fed. FIG. 1(c) shows the state where the B, C, and D sides of the blank sheet have passed through a part of the shutter, and the rollers 23, 23'
A part of the blank sheet rises and the A side is in contact with the belt and continues feeding, and the B, C, and D sides of the blank sheet stacked on top of the blank sheet currently being fed are on the roller 23. , 23', and contact with the belt is cut off. FIG. 1(D) shows the state in which side A of the blank sheet has passed through a part of the shutter, and the rollers 23.degree. and 23' have all been raised, resulting in the same state as FIG. 1(A).
