A retractable camera is a camera that uses a lens barrel that is normally pushed into the camera body, but is pulled out when taking pictures. An example of this is shown in Figure 1. Normally, the lens barrel can be pulled out and put in as shown in Figure a. The lens barrel 1, which moves with the camera, is housed in a fixed portion of the body 2, and is configured to protrude from the body 2 during photographing, as shown in b. The shutter, light-receiving element, ASA, diaphragm, distance adjustment mechanism, etc. are housed in the lens barrel 1, and the electric circuit that controls the shutter etc. is located on the body 2, so the lens barrel 1 protrudes. In this state, the various mechanisms within the lens barrel 1 and the electric circuit within the body 2 must be electrically connected. In addition, in FIG. 1, 3 is a light receiving element.

In conventional collapsible cameras of this type, the means for transmitting electrical signals from the lens barrel 1 to the camera body 2 is generally carried out by pulling out the lens barrel 1 to the photographing state, as shown in FIG. When the contact piece (contact piece) 5 slides over the pattern of the printed circuit board 4 attached to a part of the lens barrel 1.
Measures are being taken to contact the and,
When the lens barrel 1 is stored in the body 2, the lens barrel 1 moves in the direction of arrow a, and the lens barrel and the body side become electrically disconnected.

However, in such a method, if the slide contact piece 5 is to operate stably and have a long life, the contact stroke must be lengthened, which inevitably requires space and compactness. A retractable camera was inconvenient. Furthermore, since the lens barrel protrudes, light leakage from the body becomes a problem.

In view of the above points, the present invention provides an electrical connection device for a retractable camera which is designed to solve such problems and eliminate such drawbacks. A first board attached to the body, a second board connected to the electric circuit in the body and attached inside the body, and a connection between the lens barrel and the inner wall of the body with the lens barrel protruding outside the body. interposed between the two to prevent light leakage and at least the first
and a rubber-based electrically conductive connector that forms an electrically conductive path using thin metal wires embedded between corresponding electrodes on the second substrate.

FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional configuration diagram showing an embodiment of an electrical connection device in a retractable camera according to the present invention. In FIG. 3, the same symbols as in FIG. 2 indicate corresponding parts, 1a and 1b are the stepped portions of the lens barrel 1,
When the lens barrel 1 is protruded, the stepped portion 1b is the body 2.
It is configured to abut against the inner wall of the metal bag and secure the metal bag with a pressing force (not shown).

6 is a substrate attached to the stepped portion 1a of the lens barrel portion 1;
This board 6 is configured to be connected to electrical circuits of various mechanisms such as a shutter in the lens barrel 1 so as to be electrically conductive. Note that this board 6 itself may be connected as a flexible board, or may be connected with other lead wires. Reference numeral 7 denotes a board attached to the inner wall of the body 2, and the board 7 is configured to be connected to the electric circuit inside the body 2 so as to be electrically conductive. Reference numeral 8 denotes a conductive connector in which a conductor is distributed in a rubber material attached to the substrate 6 or 7, and when the lens barrel portion 1 is protruded, the conductive connector 8 connects the inner wall of the body 2 and the lens barrel. The substrate 6 is interposed between the stepped portions 1a of the portion 1 to prevent light leakage.
The thin metal wire 8a is buried between the corresponding electrodes of the substrate 7 as necessary to form an electrical conduction path between the two substrates.

FIG. 4 is an explanatory drawing showing a portion related to the conductive connector 8. When the lens barrel section 1 (see FIG. 3) is moved to the photographing state, the connection between the lens barrel side board 6 and the body side board 7 is shown. By sandwiching and crimping a conductive connector 8 made of a rubber material between them, the signal c from the lens barrel 1 can be transmitted to the control circuit on the body 2 side.

Although the case in which a comb-shaped conductive connector is used has been described as an example in FIG. 4, the present invention is not limited to this, and the case where the lens barrel side substrate 6 and the body side substrate 7 are connected is explained. It is also possible to use a rubber-based electrically conductive connector 8 in which an electrically conductive path is formed by a thin metal wire as shown in FIG. 5. Then, several of these thin metal wires are bundled into one
The conductive points are arranged in a zigzag pattern when viewed from the sheet surface.

Then, a conductive connector 8 is attached in a ring shape around the lens barrel 1, and the conductive connector 8 is made of a rubber-based material between the fixing part of the body 2 and the lens barrel 1 side, for example, so as to prevent light from passing through. Since it is crimped through the conductive connector 8, it can also be used as a measure against light leakage, which is a problem that often occurs with retractable cameras. In this case, the connector portion of the electrically conductive connector 8 made of rubber-based material may be formed only at the necessary portions, and the rest of the periphery may be made of only the rubber-based material without any electrically conductive portion.

Note that when the lens barrel 1 is collapsed, that is, when the lens barrel is pushed into the camera body 2, the lens barrel moves in the direction of arrow b shown in FIG. If the distance is further away from one side, conduction will no longer occur.

As is clear from the above explanation, according to the present invention, the electrical connection between the lens barrel and the body can be made simply and accurately, and light leakage can be prevented compared to the conventional contact type. Since it becomes easy, the practical effect is extremely large.
