Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent wrinkling from occurring when taking up a thin film base with images printed thereon, by a method wherein an ink layer having a film thickness approximately equal to that of patterns is provided at non- pattern part by using an ink different from a pattern-forming ink. CONSTITUTION:To prevent a printed thin film base from being wrinkled when taking up the base, an ink layer having a film thickness approximately equal to that of patterns is provided at non-pattern parts by using an ink different from a pattern-forming ink at the time of printing the patterns on the base. Accordingly, the printed thin film base has a thickness which is substantially uniform over the entire part, and can be prevented from being wrinkled when taking up the base. It is preferable to provide the ink layer at the non-pattern part by using a transparent ink or to provide an ink layer at the non-image parts which is difficult to distinguish from the thin film base, but other inks may used according to the use.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] <Technical Field of the Invention> The present invention relates to a method for preventing the occurrence of wrinkles when winding up a printed thin film base material. By forming an ink layer with approximately the same thickness as the pattern using an ink different from the pattern forming ink, it is possible to eliminate unevenness in the total thickness of the ink film on the thin film base material.

<Prior art of the invention and its problems> Conventionally, in the case of long rolls of thin film base materials with a film thickness of several microns or less, uneven printing causes dents, wrinkles, etc. in the roll. It is known that the difference in film thickness between the inked and non-inked areas will affect the winding condition as the substrate becomes thinner and the printing ink layer becomes thicker. It is difficult to prevent the occurrence of wrinkles during winding, especially in the case of large, vertically striped patterns, and there are limits to limiting the length of one winding and controlling the winding tension.

〈発明の目的〉 本発明は以上の事情に鑑み成されたものであり。<Purpose of the invention> The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances.

<Summary of the Invention> In order to achieve the above-mentioned objects, the present invention, when printing a pattern on a thin film base material, uses an ink different from the pattern-forming ink to print a film of approximately the same size as the pattern even in areas without a pattern. This is to form a thick ink layer.

Is the thin film striped used in the present invention suitable for printing when the film thickness is several microns or less? Specifically, it is a base material used as a base material for transfer papers such as heat-sensitive transfer paper and pressure-sensitive transfer paper, and decorative paper for decorative plywood. Conventionally, in the production of heat-sensitive transfer paper, pressure-sensitive transfer paper, thin film decorative paper, etc., patterns such as transferred designs and decorative designs are printed on such thin film base materials. It is formed using a pattern-forming ink such as thermal transfer ink, pressure-sensitive transfer ink, or gravure printing ink. However, when winding up a thin film base material printed with only the desired pattern, wrinkles occur due to the difference in height between the pattern-formed part and the non-pattern-formed part. Put it away. The occurrence of wrinkles becomes more noticeable as the thin film base material becomes thinner and as the pattern becomes thicker. Therefore, in the present invention,
In order to prevent the occurrence of wrinkles when the printed thin film substrate is rolled up, when printing a pattern on the thin film substrate, areas without a pattern are painted with an ink that is almost the same as the pattern using an ink different from the ink used to form the pattern. Form an ink layer with a thickness of about (
. As a result, the thickness of the printed thin film base material becomes substantially constant everywhere, making it possible to prevent the occurrence of wrinkles during one winding.

<Effects of the Invention> When printing on a thin film base material, the present invention uses the same printing method for areas other than patterns that are originally unnecessary. Since the ink layer is applied to increase the film thickness by using the ink layer, wrinkles do not occur when the printed thin film base material is rolled up, and printing on the thin film base material can be stabilized. This effect becomes more pronounced as the thinner the thin film base material, the thicker the film thickness of the pattern, and the more scattered the pattern forming parts.

Comparing the two, the former had no wrinkles that were confirmed by inspection, whereas the latter had significant wrinkles in the area where the non-patterned area overlapped on the winding.
