Abstract

PURPOSE:To find out an original point position having a prescribed ratio from the positions of the leading edge and trailing edge points of a waveform by forming a means for detecting the original point of operation on the basis of the ON and OFF waveform of a switch. CONSTITUTION:An input pulse is applied to a controller 15 to drive a pulse motor 1 and is inputted to a counter 16 as a clock. A preset value is previously set up in the counter 16 and the address counting value is applied to a leading edge address register 12 and a trailing edge address register 13 as a clock. When the motor 1 is driven, a detecting signal outputted from a microswitch 5 is inputted to a changing point detecting part and the leading edge and trailing edge of the input is detected and inputted to the registers 12, 13 respectively to obtain addresses shifted in the time axis direction. The addresses of both the registers 12, 13 are sent to an arithmetic circuit 14 and the center of both the addresses or a point having a fixed ratio is operated and outputted as an original point address.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in card reading devices, printing devices, and the like, a method as shown in FIG. 3, for example, has been adopted as a method for detecting the origin of the operation of a mechanical section. That is, when the actuator lever 3 is attached to the shaft 2 of the pulse motor 1 and a desired operation is performed, the operation is controlled by the cam 4 at the end of the shaft and the four-wheel 6 of the micro switch 5 that slides around the cam 4. The origin position and operating speed are controlled. Figure 4 (α) shows the relationship between the cam 4 and the roller 6 when detecting the origin position in this case, and the microswitch 5 turns from on to off at the center 0 of μm 6, and at the center 0'. Assuming that it changes from off to on, the time width 11 shown by the solid line in (6) in the same figure

In the conventional method described above, sticking occurs due to the relative position of the microswitch 5 and the cam 4, the contact position of the roller 6 of the microswitch 5 itself, and the on/off relationship, and for example, the time indicated by the dotted line in FIG. 4 (6) Width l! The time waveform and the rise point t2 also deviate greatly. Therefore, a highly accurate initial adjustment is required for K to match the preset nine p-grams.

In order to achieve the above object, the positioning method of the present invention includes means for detecting the origin of the operation of the device mechanical section by the on/off waveform of a switch, and detects a predetermined ratio from the positions of the rising and falling points of the waveform. This method is characterized by finding the origin position of .

According to the above positioning method, as shown in Figure 4 (6), the variation in the time waveform depends on the adjustment of the relative positions of the microswitch and the cam, and the rise and fall shifts are equally variable or only one. There is a larger variation between the two than the other.

This shows a fairly constant tendency depending on the detection mechanism. In the present invention, this tendency is utilized to detect the positions of the rising edge and falling edge,
By finding this center position or a position of a certain ratio, a point that hardly changes even if both sides change can be obtained as the origin.

As explained above, according to the present invention, there is a means for detecting the origin of the operation of the device mechanism section based on the on/off waveform of the switch, and from the address of the rising point and falling point, the center point or a certain point is detected. The ratio point is calculated and used as the origin address. As a result, even if there are variations on both sides of the time waveform, the midpoint or the point at which the ratio is constant becomes a substantially stable point and can be used as the origin.

Furthermore, even if the time waveform deviates due to long-term use, the deviation of the origin is extremely small and accuracy can be maintained. It is clear that the application of the invention thus makes the adjustment of the detection mechanism of the switch much easier.
