射線検出器よりなるリング型検出器列を有し、被
検体内から放出されるポジトロン消滅γ線を上記
の各検出器により検出して、収集されたデータを
コンピユータにより処理することによつて被検体
内のポジトロン放出性核種の分布像を再構成する
ポジトロンECT装置において、上記リング型検
出器列をスライス厚さ方向に往復移動させる機構
を有し、上記リング型検出器列をスライス厚さ方
向での少なくとも2つの位置に交互に位置決めす
ることを繰り返しながら1回のデータ収集を行な
