〔発明の利用分野〕
本発明は放電灯安定器などのコイル端末を端子金具に溶
接したコイル装置における合成樹脂製端子板の構造に関

端子金具にコイル端末を溶接してなるコイル装置は、従

イル8の端末4を端子板lに設けた端子金具5に係止し
、上記端子金具5の上下から第5図に示すように電極6
および7を当接しスポットウェルドしていた。このスポ
ットウェルドを行う際には、コイルボビン2を固定治具
8Vc挿入し九のち端子板1に設けた電極用穴9から溶
接用の下電極7を挿入し、端子金具5に当接してスポッ
トウェルドを行うが、特に小形の放電灯用安定器などで
は端子板1が小さいため、十分な開口面積の電極用穴9
を設けることができず、また固定治具8にコイルボビン
2を挿入するとき、定位置に対しコイル軸方向に僅かな
寸法誤差を生じることによって溶接用下電極7が上記電
極用穴9に接触または近接し、溶接時の発熱により10
0000前後の高温となるため、電極用穴9の側壁が溶
融して溶融物質が電極7の上部に付着する。この状態を
繰返す間に上記溶接用下電極7と端子金具5との間が不
導通となシ、溶接不良を多発していた。この対策として
上記溶接用下電極7の上部直径を細くすることが考えら
れるが、溶接時の圧力や発熱の面から最低8mmfBを
必要とするため、実現することができない。第6図は従
来のコイル装置の端子部を示す平面図、第7図は上記従

隙間を生じるが、この程度の隙間では、端子金具5には
んだ付けを行った際に溶融したはんだが端子板1の下側
に流れ出すことがない。なお、上記長穴11および11
’は端子板1におけるコイル3と反対側つまり外方に開
口された切込み穴であっても、その作用および効果は上
