- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 排気ガス通路を形成するパイプの外周面に
、このパイプを囲む筒体を固着し、パイプ側壁の
内周側に、パイプの軸方向に沿つた長さが相異な
り、かつ排気ガス通路の排気ガス通路断面積を入
口側よりも出口側の方を小さくさせる複数の環状
吸音室を形成し、パイプ側壁のうち環状吸音室を
形成する側壁を除いたパイプ側壁の全域に亘つて
複数の小孔を刻設してパイプと筒体との空間部に
共鳴室を形成したことを特徴とする消音器。 (2) 環状吸音室は、パイプの内周に固着したカ
バーと、このカバー内に充填した吸音材から構成
されていることを特徴とする実用新案登録請求の
範囲第１項記載の消音器。
