Abstract

PURPOSE:To relieve the closing up of articles and shock of the collision between the articles for an article feeding roller conveyer capable of single article alignment stock by providing given positions of each of two chains running in opposite directions to each other with resilient members so that the rollers are rotated due to the contact between the resilient members and the rollers. CONSTITUTION:An article 2 conveyed by a conveyer 1 is fed by stationary but rolling rollers 13. When resilient members 24 and 25 are brought into contact with a roller 13 at its margin 13A by upper and lower chain portions 22 and 23 run by sprockets 18 of upper and lower drive units 16 and 17, respectively, the roller 13 is rotated in a feeding direction or in the reverse direction opposite thereto. Thus, a plurality of the rollers 13 are rotated in turn in the respective directions as the resilient members 24 and 25 progress. Since these members 24 and 25 are arranged at given intervals, the articles 2, forming groups, are intermittently fed and stocked on the roller 13 where an outlet conveyer 26 is connected with the conveyer 1. Since intermittently fed in the reverse direction by the resilient member 25 on the lower chain portion 23 at this time, the articles 2 do not close up together and the shock of collision between the articles is relieved.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION A conventional conveyor for stocking articles has a number of rollers arranged in parallel, and by rotating each of these rollers, the articles on the rollers are moved, and a stopper provided at the tip of the roller moves the articles. There is a roller conveyor that is positioned and stocked on rollers. In the case of this type of roller conveyor, when the number of articles to be stocked increases, the rollers are constantly rotating, so the rollers and the bottom surfaces of the articles come into contact with each other and end up slipping.

Moreover, as the stock area increases, pressure increases between items, and when there is no place for the pressure to escape, items overlap each other and form bridges, falling back and forth, creating clusters of many items overlapping each other, and are easily damaged. This method has the drawback that it cannot be applied to articles, articles that must be avoided from deformation, articles that require alignment even if they are stocked individually.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention The present invention eliminates the above-mentioned drawbacks, and alleviates the pressure of crowding of articles and collisions between articles when the articles are moved from the conveyor port to the rollers of the la conveyor. The purpose is to provide a means to do so.

To explain the operation of the transport roller conveyor 6, the article 2 transported by the transport conveyor 1 is delivered to a roller 13 which is close to the first transport conveyor 1. Since the roller 13 is normally stopped, the transfer conveyor 1
The article 2 sent out from the roller 13 accumulates on the roller 13. The upper and lower elastic bodies 24.25 are fixed to the chain 22.23 along the upper and lower chain rails 20.21 by the rotation of the drive sprocket 18 of the upper and lower drive devices 16.17.
When the roller 1 approaches and comes into contact with the edge 13A of the roller 13, a forward rotational force or a reverse rotational force is applied to the roller 13.
3 rotates. Since the elastic bodies 24 and 25 move as shown by the arrows, the rollers 13 arranged in parallel rotate one after another.

However, the elastic bodies 24.25 are not continuously fixed to the chain 22.23, but are provided at predetermined locations at appropriate intervals according to the size and quantity of the articles 2. As shown in FIG. 2, the articles 2 are conveyed intermittently while forming a group, and are stocked on the roller 13 of the conveyor roller 6 at the connecting portion between the conveyor roller conveyor 6 and the exit conveyor 26. The article 2 becomes stocked when the article 2 is stored on the rollers 13 when it is necessary to temporarily stop the outlet conveyor 26 due to a malfunction, article replacement, parts supply, etc. in front of the outlet conveyor 26. , the stock amount gradually increases over time, but the lower chain 23
Since the elastic body 25 fixed to the roller 13 intermittently contacts the lower part of the roller 13 and reverses the rotation, the pressure between the articles 2 is relieved, and the articles 2 are aligned individually without being damaged or deformed. The article 2 at the head of the conveyor roller conveyor 6 is delivered to the exit conveyor 26 by the movement of the elastic body 24. In this embodiment, the rollers 13 are rotated forward or reverse from the top and bottom of the transport roller conveyor 6, but they may be rotated forward or reverse at both ends of the rollers 13, respectively. Also, the drive device 16.1
7 is provided with a sensor on the transport roller conveyor 6, and it is also possible to operate or stop the drive using the sensor.

Effects of the Invention As described above, according to the present invention, the articles supplied to the transfer conveyor roller conveyor can be intermittently conveyed on the rollers, and even when the amount of stock increases, the articles are not damaged or deformed. It has great industrial value in that it can be individually arranged in good order, safely stocked without imposing an unreasonable load on the items, and sent out toward the exit conveyor.
